Reason For Rating : Better customer support. You guys are so lousy. Your app doesn't work half the time. I booked for two and it auto selected one. Now I have to pay extra for no fault of mine. Useless company. You need to work on a lot of things to keep customers coming back

Spacious room and bathroom with separate sitting area in the colonial style. Decor seemed a bit tired and the the seats in the sitting room were not very comfortable, The food was very good and catered for a wide range of taste. Bar area lacked is a bit austere. We didn't do the outside BBQ. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Our only complaint was the poor facilities for the drivers as mentioned in another review. It is important that your driver has good facilities for himself and to keep the car clean. His well being is important a major factor in your enjoyemnt of the trip. I have commented to the hotel about this and the manager assured me that the poor faciliies will be rectified. I just hope this is the case.

Excellent ambience. Quiet. Lovely experience. Hot water was available for a bath. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Good view from the garden. Good for photography. Have some clothing suitable for cold climates

This hotel was developed from a Victorian priory attached to the next door church. The rooms are all individual and the decor is age appropriate so not modern or up to date with the exception of the bathroom. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We were spoiled the first morning by an extensive breakfast buffet which wasnt available the following day as fewer rooms were occupied (although we could order anything we wanted a la carte). The only problem for us was that everything we wanted to do was in Ooty, 20 km away along a slow road which took at least an hour to drive. So we drove through Ooty to get to the hotel, then Ooty and back for sightseeing the next day and the back to Ooty for the toy train. So for us, the location was not ideal. But a lovely hotel nonetheless.

Stayed two nights. Loved the colonial feel of the hotel just up on the hill above the town of Coonoor. Particularly having a small study area with a fireplace. We passed on the toy train to Ooty but enjoyed a day walking up to Sims Park and then down into the hustle and bustle of the town before escaping back to manicures lawns and watching the mist roll over the hills. A jumper is really needed here in the evenings. The only disappointment was the restaurant. High prices but not high quality. We suspect tinned mushrooms was a key ingredient of our mushroom and pea curry, and my stir fried Bhindi was well over salted. Serving popadoms was a nice touch but no sauces or chutneys to go with it. And why is hot food served on cold plates? Even though I can see a warm plate contraption in evidence. Lovely dinning room but lacked any real sophistication which was a shame. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

A very good place to stay. Heritage property - peaceful and great for leisure trips. If you just want to read a book or listen to music while seeing the magnificent Nilgiris - its the best place to stay. Very friendly staff too.
