Highly recommended, looking to stay again in the very near future. Awesome stay, commendable hospitality assured. Generous people in and around the area. Trek to Tadiandamol was the best part. Great place to hang out with friends and family.

Our weekend at coorg coffee country was more than delightful.Starting with the great breakfast, very comfortable spacious rooms, lovely exotic traditional coorg cuisine, the late evenings campfire, and the beautiful riverside makes this place all the more enchanting. The natures quite solitude and the mountain beauty surrounding this place makes it a perfect location to cherish a great and adventurous experience.I am overwhelmed by Mr Mandy and his staff's hospitality.Even though we were a group of girls,we have never felt this safe.Mr Mandy is really a respectable person. This is really a gem of a place to endure a relaxing experience and to completely disconnect from work and reconnect with nature. This is a perfect place for a perfect vacation.

Its not the first time that I have booked a homestay. I have had very good and memorable experiences a couple of times earlier. But...to be frank...each time i hit a homestay beacuse of non-availability in other reputed resorts/hotels. ...So I went ahead with my family for this one during Ugadi holidays March 2016. The homestay is managed by soft spoken Mr Mandy and his assistent Mr. Chinnappa. Let me bring to focus the main points of disappointment for the money spent. One....there were frequent power cuts .....many times within a day....that too in summer time when it was too hot....and the host managed the show with us by fake assurances of providing alternate back up which never was in place. We couldn't sleep during the night as well. Second......food was below average (with a humble note that I am not that nosy about things)....the same chicken was offered during lunch as well as dinner.....no options on veg ....i mean ...none of us enjoyed the food honestly....The rooms were very poorly lit....though a bulb was changed on request.....The only positive part was that Mr. Chinnappa was always availableon phone...but of not much help.
A decent stay

I stayed here with a couple of people from work. It is quite far from the main city and the only reason we chose to book this property was it's proximity (3 kms ) to a very beautiful hiking path (Tadiandamol). The room we were given had four beds and a single washroom. The room was in a decent condition (nothing remarkable). The view was pretty great though. The meals which were a part of the package were quite good (very spicy). The only con was the price we paid for our stay for the amenities, location and property that we were provided. Better home stays were there in the area in the same price range (1300 per person).
Never go during summers

Pick rooms on the floor higher than ground floor.

Higher Floors have a better view

If you're bachelor then ask for the lower cottage which is around the plantation and away from the road.
