This place is suitable for you if you like a place away from the city and in the lap of nature. Very calm and silent place even from 1.5 km into the coffee plantation. Ideal for a couple walk in the Morning. Facilities are very basic but that are not important if you like to stay in nature. Dinner was good with spicey Veg- Non Veg food. Breakfas was very simple with limited options. recommend this to stay for couple of nights. Iruppu Falls is nearby around 10 km from here

We booked 2 rooms and the rooms are well maintained and spacious enough,LED TV with dth connection. Person in-charge took care of the check-in well and they have outdoor space for playing music and campfire, kids have option of playing football and badminton. We can have a good time roaming around inside the coffee estate. There is no issues with the stay, but the food is very average and don't have many options too. I feel for the price they charge per person, they need to improve a lot on the food and quality too. I infact asked them if they can change the dish, there was no option and had to have the food what they serve. There is no close by restaurants. There are frequent power cuts, good they have generator facilities, but sometimes we have to call them to switch on the generators, which i felt they need to improve on those. As it is summer this might be an issue. Mobile network is minimal and they don't have WIFI. Payments are mostly by cash or to the bank account. No credit card or any wallet payments accepted. So if you are planning to this place please check with the in-charge prior. ATM is available only in a town called kutta. The place is pretty near to Nagarahole National Park (9KM to Ticket counter gate, decent roads). Iruppu falls is close by. Apart from this there is no other sight seeing places. So plan accordingly, as this is south side of the coorg.

We were a group of 32 who visited CCC - all in the age group of 22-27. Were were informed that the property can accomodate utmost 26, however, on our request, they accepted the booking of 30+. Being very skeptical about how good the place will be, we were in for a decent surprise. A badminton court at the entrance, nice and clean rooms and an amazing trio of caretakers to host us! They have a dorm with a capacity of 10, and about 4 double-bed rooms. We requested the caretaker to prepare local food, and he did - the food generally was nice and simple. Our guys loved the rasam there! - On our request, they also prepared Maggi for dinner on one of the days. It was amazing to also meet the owner of the property who has a bungalow about a few hundred meters away. He explained us about the coffee plantations, the process of preparing coffee, which are pure and impure forms of coffee and the way coffee is marketed. They also have a coffee plantation of about 70+ acres around CCC. The Nalkeri widlife sanctuary is a 30-min drive from CCC (about 12 km), and so is the Wayanad sanctuary too - We missed out on visiting the sanctuaries because of the 15 Aug rush. There is river rafting (Rs. 1000) nearby, and the Iruppu falls (which apparently are better than the Abbey falls in Madikeri). Few downsides: (1) The property is in south Coorg - near the Kerala border - There are not too many things nearby - you will have to drive at least 10 mins even for a general store; (2) We had an understanding that Coorg is a hill station. To our surprise, it isn't - except for Madikeri (in north Coorg). Madikeri is about 1.5 hours (70 kms) from CCC. However, Madikeri is pretty commercial, and a quiet place like CCC really felt nice; (3) Tourist places in Kushalnagar are also pretty far away (about 1 hour) from CCC; (4) A swimming pool or more games (apart from badminton) would be ideal, since the tourist places are far away Overall, it was a good experience at CCC.

I am a regular at Abhuja Farms Bandipur and when it was time for that trip with close friends I once again reached out to Team Ambhuja to enquire on options. I was told about their new property at Coorg, having experienced the ambhuja hospitality for almost 5 years now, we instantly decided to go for our 2016 outing to Coorg coffee Camp. Basic yet clean, set amidst the coffee estates is Coffee Camp. A little more than half a KM from the Kannuru main road the property is easily approachable. The camp has options to accommodate families and groups. Food is basic but sumptuous and the hospitality rocks. The property has a small place for camp fire, an elevated dining area and a court to play shuttle. With power back up and nature cooled rooms it was overall a very satisfying experience. if u are looking at a basic not so expensive retreat amidst the coffee estates of Coorg then Coffee Camp it is.
