I was very skeptical about the place due to a very very much affordable price :) but it turned out to be far more than what i had expected. I planned tge trip for 15ppl in office(highlighting this due to implied complexity) and it turned out very well for all of us. About homestay. 1. Easy to find from kakabe. 2. Clean & very well maintained. 3. Waterfall, trekking spot, adventure activities are close(2km) 4. 4 rooms/balcony/dining hall are spacious and good time for quality talk time. About the HOST. 1. Mr. Suman understands the meaning of a host. Very helpful and cooperative. 2. Guides/takes us to places around based on the group and the memebers. 3. Amazing food and its unlimited. 4. They even cooked fresh again for our drinkes :) 5. He is pretty famous around the locality so help is available all around. Overall i give a 5 easily. Been with couples and with larger audience. Its a place where i will stay wgenever i go. I would generally call Suman directly for booking the room and arrangements over there. Makes it whole lot easier for him and me.

This is the best resort and estate I have ever seen. It is unimaginably beautiful...the view form the home stay is simply breathtaking. The estates , the hills and the river .... simply heaven on Earth. The host, Mr Suman and family very helpful and warm. Every time I go to Coorg....this is where I will stay.

Stay:: + Very Neat and Clean Rooms with Clean Bed Lining + Cots are large and can accommodate a couple and a kid + Lust Green views out of the windows. View of sky high hills + Plantation walking and ample parking + Plus : Near by 2 locations of streams to take bath even in peak summer + The 1st floor sit out balcony opens directly to the view of hills. Super !!! + Plus : Excellent hospitality - Watch out for the gas geezer. You can smell CO2 Food:: + One of the most tastier foods I had in home-stays. Outstanding varieties !!! Exceptional quality and diet balance !!! + You get Veg and Non-Veg. Though we were Veg. - Almost twice as costly as other options nearby. Charged for kids too, that makes it even higher. Overall:: + Highly recommended !!! + Owners chasing for a feedback confirms confidence they have in their service. Yes they are very good. - Not for a budget outlook Feedback:: All meals need not be buffet. A lower budget meal (one course) could be an offer for budget out-lookers. Owners can consider this option and propose such option to customers. As a family too some meals can be buffet and some a one course, during a multiple day stay.

A very comfortable home-stay with absolutely delicious home cooking! Despite being busy with the coffee harvest, Suman took time to answer our many questions about the local area and pointed us towards a number of beautiful hill walks along easy woodland paths with breath-taking views. We walked around 4-5 hours a day and there are numerous possibilities for shorter or longer hikes in the vicinity, ranging from the strenuous day climb up 1,748 metre Tadiandamol (the highest peak in Kerala) to local strolls. A very friendly and helpful family. Highly recommended!

There are a couple of points that I would point out and you should take note. 1. The host was constantly in touch since before our arrival to assist us with the journey to the homestay. 2. He provided us with directions and even came to receive us. 3. The homestay is very close to Tadiyanamool and Chelavara. 4. It is away from the city and devoid of all noise. If you are looking for serenity, you'll find it here. 5. The homestay covers quite a big area so you have a lot of space to go around, especially Suman's (the host) coffee estate. You are free to roam about without restriction. 6. The FOOD OMG! It is so good. You will be offered with various choices and all of them will be good. The meals are sumptuous and delicious. Do not miss the rice roti! 7. They harvest the best coffee. You will know what unprocessed coffee tastes like and it is heaven! 8. The family is very warm and they welcome all sorts of travelers with absolutely no prejudice. 9. They have a suite with an amazing view. It is a room and living space with attached bath. The other rooms have a shared bath. 24-hour water and electricity supply with free WiFi. The room charges are reasonable. 10. It is a two-storey house with the family living on the ground floor. So, you will have their assistance as well as time for yourself.
