I don't know how good reviews are there for this homestay, there are much better and cheaper homestays in better location of coorg . Here is my experience: Cons: 1. Very Bad location, if you get late and want to check in after 6 pm, you won't be able to get to the place They don't even have any board to reach to the place 2. we booked 2 deluxe rooms for family, but they gave two different rooms which were quite apart, that too one of them was normal which I didn't even booked 3. Nobody cares for your luggage transport to room, my luggage stays in open entrance for 2 hours. 4. There were thousands of dead and alive mosquitoes in room, they cleaned them and after 2 hr, there were again thousands of mosquitoes. 5. Balcony gate was not closing properly, we had to place a towel in gap, to stop mosquitoes to get in 6. No room service, only one plug switch in room 7. They were charging for tea also (30 rs for very small cup) 8. They were charging for your driver food also 9. Very limited variety in dinner and breakfast, didn't like the taste also. food was not hot 10. No extra amenities 11. There was No Tata Sky recharged for TV 12. No attendant was there to check if something finished or needed while having breakfast or dinner NOTE: worst part when made complaint of these things, owner was not accepting these and he said that I can write negative reviews for his home stay. It seems he has all paid reviews on multiple sites Pros: Lot of greenery

I have been to this place last February and found this place amazing in middle of coffee plantation. Harish, the owner, is too good in hospitality and you cannot more in such a price. Truly experiential and must recommended. Dont go with high expectation of 4 star or 5 star luxury but you will be treated well.

As again, i needed a break from city hustle-bustle and where else than my favorite - Deep Woodz. I have lost count of the times I have been here and all the experiences have been worth noting. Harish and family continue to suprise you by their superb hospitality. They remember every choice of yours and that too without using computers to keep reminders. And Mrs. Harish is such an amazing cook. She prepares every dish herself starting early in the morning and till late evenings. Not even a pinch of salt extra !! This can only happen when you truely love people and are fond of them.. treat then as family.. Hats-off to the couple and lots of love / best wishes.

Had been to place for 2 nights stay. Place is amazing and well maintained and literally hand crafted property. Real natural atmosphere. Mr Harish and Team are best in hospitality. You can buy a best of coffee wine and spices there. Its one more reason to be there. Thanks Funstay and Mr Harish !!

Me and my friends stayed at the scenic Deepwoodz homestay for two days. It is located deep inside a coffee estate and will give you perfect getaway from the hustle of the city. The rooms are amidst coffee and pepper plants and there is greenery as far as the eye can see. As far as natural beauty goes, Deepwoodz gets full points. The food was simple, tasty and vegetarian plus omlettes for breakfast and included a local delicacy. Dinner was light yet tasty with chapati and daal, rice, rasam and curd and two varieties of vegetable curries. There was non vegetarian food available for lunch but we were vegetarians. The rooms very sparkly clean and the bathrooms were hygienic. Piping hot water was available all day from 7am. A tour of the coffee estate was given to us by a worker at the plantation. It is a must do for everyone who visits the place. Overall we had a great trip, thanks to the lovely people at deepwoodz, which by itself became a worthy tourist destination to us. A shout out to the Manager of the home stay, Mr. Harish. He was helpful in every possible way, which made a significant difference for five 20 year old girls traveling alone.
