Have stayed here thrice (Jun 2011, Jan 2013, Jul 2017). One thing which is consistent - Food and Food and Food. In fact, I planned to stay at another place this time (Jul 2017) and had horrible experience and had to leave that place in mid of vacation. Contacted aunty and she was very Gracious to accept us in her house at run-time (like we just dropped in and asked for room). She went out of her way to make us comfortable and made special dishes for us - including all my visits had So many type of puttus, Appam, idyappam, 3 type of dosas, poori, Idli, Rava idli, poori, 3 type of chicken curry, Pandi curry, Fish (fry and dry and curry) and then veg things. All in total 8-9 days of stay across. To top it all Nonnaiah Aunty was so good with my kids (earlier 1 kid and this time 2 kids) , never got frustrated with them running inside her house to to her own room. Both uncle and Aunty were so loving for them. In Fact once or twice she took away kid with her to her room so we could get alone dinner time with each other. Another point is access to kitchen and cooking for my wife to prepare for my kids. She says, she doesnt advertises and only goes by word of mouth. Which is apparent in her bookings. All in all Best place in Western Ghats for Authentic food (i am a Cook myself), very good for Family and home like feeling. Any yes, that homemade wines are so awesome. Will recommend to anyone travelling with family or wanting to have a taste of Coorgi Hospitality... For the lUnch places and also for places to visit, Ask Aunty she gives best advice, as to how to sequence your visits, which restaurant good for what kind of food, what route to take etc.,

We were a group of six ladies, all family, and had booked this lovely quaint place for our 5 day stay in Coorg. It is an awesome place and, though initially I was apprehensive about homestay, all my uncertainties vanished within a day! The couple who owns this beautiful property is so warm and friendly and they made us feel at home, serving really yummy breakfast and a wonderful authentic Coorgi style dinner. By the end of our stay, we were so reluctant to leave and wished we had spent more time there, we almost got the feeling that we were visiting a relative, such was the hospitality!!

We planned our tour end of April 2017. Started hunting various hotels in Madikeri, heard lot about homestay but not had enough courage to stay since we have been staying in hotels earlier. Ultimately got reference from one of my friends of Misty Meadows. Spoke to Mrs Bollu and did the booking for 2 days i.e. 17th and 18th May. Started journey from Udupi morning 7:30a.m. Reached Madikeri around 11:30a.m. Road is good but lot of curves so drove slowly. Mrs. Bollu and Mr. Naniah welcomed us rather they have been waiting for us as one of their family members. It was one of my best experiences ever because of the hospitality and kindness the family showed on us. We had breakfast, lunch and Dinner at same place. Mrs. Bollu Cooked various types of dishes including some local traditional food. Sufficient quality and quantity of food provided which liked by my family including children. Home made wine provided as complimentary for tasting which excited us to buy few bottles. We did not enjoy much on site seeing outside which found as waste of time and money. We want to visit once again and recommend people visit along with family to spend quality time. I Thank and wish Mrs. Bollu and Mr. Naniah best wishes

It's a simply amazing place in deep woods. Very seren & beautiful. It is 8kms.from madikeri town on the Mysore-Benglore highway, in the middle of coffee plantation.we stayed for 3 days,& it's just not enough! We liked the place so much, the weather was also very charming. The owners Mrs.Bollu & Mr.Naniah are the most gracious couple I have met.The food she prepared is so tasty & more than enough. The USP is always her homemade wines,& you get to taste it all!! Their benglow is very beautiful & well maintained.I must mention the cleanliness & calm & quite atm. @ home. We enjoyed the evenings sitting in the varanda with so many known & unknown birds flying around,we spotted scarlet minivet, woodpecker, racket tailed drongo, malabar hornbill & many more in the estate, some by simply sitting in the varandah. The nights were litup with glowworms all around. Mrs.Bollu has made very quick & good arrangements for the vehicles for pickup & to visit various places around coorg,as traveling from mumbai, this was our first worry. The two dogs Sheru & Julie will definitely keep you company on the walks in the estate, among so many beautiful flowering plants & huge silver oak trees, it's a paradise for nature lovers like us. Thank you Mrs Bollu for everything you deed for us, special mention of the sandwiches you prepared @ 5am in the morning!! It's more than a home away from home. We surely are looking forward to meet you soon, & already circulated your place among my friends and relatives. It was a most memorable 36'th wedding anniversary for us!

We, a family of three, stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed every moment. Nestled amidst coffee plantation and managed by the extremely friendly couple, Mr And Mrs. Nanaiah, it has stunning scenery and is a quiet and serene place. The food cooked by Mrs. Nanaiah was delicious we enjoyed the local Coorg delicacies - rice balls, different local rice preparations & chicken. If you eat pork try out the famous Coorg dry pork which was lip-smacking! I also tried and bought local wine and coffee from Mrs. Nanaiah. Suggest spend some time in this place instead of sightseeing go for a morning walk around the estate or come back from sightseeing after lunch and spend the evening. If you enjoy birdwatching, you can see a lot of good birds here we sighted minivets, common, Iora, Malabar Grey hornbill, Creasted Hawk eagle, babblers, etc. The owners recommended a local taxi service (Sampat -9448422264, 8277132666), who was also very friendly and reliable. He arranged the local sightseeing in addition to pickup and drop from Bangalore airport. I suggest to go for a local Coorg transport as you wont have any problem finding the place. We felt very relaxed and rejuvenated after the stay here. Certainly recommend the stay!
