What's Good: Only the surrounding coffee plantation which you can find near every cheap hotel as well
What needs to improve : Even the coffee plantation tour was charged despite we payed huge amount for the rooms and was not at all worth
Reason For Rating : Extremely expensive and the rooms were not worth it at all.

What's Good: view from top of mountains, you can actially have the view from swimming pool, close to nature
What needs to improve : The location to hotel is through coffee plantation therefore, it was very tight, there is facility from hotel to actually guide you from that maze. Also, if you encounter any vehicle from opposite direction it is a nightmare.Staff is not very friendly also less variety in food and overpriced. Its better to got for lunch and dinner to virajpet rather than eating here.
Reason For Rating : NA, all good from yatra.

What's Good: Resort ambience is good. Suitable for pleasant stay.
What needs to improve : Maintenance is poor. Food is overpriced in restaurant.
Reason For Rating : It is difficult to locate the resort in coorg. When we called 24/7 enquiry for route guidance ,we are informed to call another mobile in Bangalore.

Reason For Rating : This isnt much of an issue with the hotel as it is with your platform. I booked a room for 3 adults and 1 infant., and based on the price decided to book. Your page got stalled at the payment gateway so I had to refresh it and it took me back to Yatra portal with booking details and pressed continue and paid - the same amount. After the booking was done and once we reached the hotel, we realised that the booking was done for 2 adults and 1 infant. The page refreshed the number of occupants to default too. And for no reason I ended up paying 1000 bucks extra for the 3rd adult. The price on your portal was exactly the same for 3 adults compared to two adults. I tried reasoning with the hotel but they said since the booking is for 2, we have to pay for an extra person. All because your portal refused to move ahead during the payment gateway.

What's Good: Wonderful experience staying at Porcupine Castle, surrounded by coffee plantation. Beautiful location, though a bit far away from Madikeri town. Nice clean rooms. Staff was courteous and helpful, especially Mr. Lohit, who also took us on a small trek in the plantation and was very informative. Food was good. Definately worth visiting again.

What's Good: Great property and some breathtaking view from our rooms. We stayed in Premium Valley View chalets (105 & 106). The Valley view rooms are the best. They also have 2 amazing tree houses (one above the other, on the same tree), which would fascinate the adventurous soul. It was a great experience - the property itself, the friendly staff etc. It is located about 40 kms from Madikeri & the tourists attractions, so unless you have a car, you might find it difficult to go out and see places. The plantation walk was very informative and one of the best things in this resort. Its a must do.. Yesudas, who took us on the plantation tour knows everything abut the local flora & fauna, and is very friendly, patient and passionate about it. Ask for Yesudas by name for the plantation walk, if possible. The food was good, but not many local Coorgi/ Kodava dishes feature, and some of the things given on the menu were not available. We also felt the dishes were way overpriced. Given that the resort is away from any other source of food (restaurants, hotels), this can be a sore point, in an otherwise fabulous stay.

I had a visit to the resort by 5th of December. I had a warm welcome over there. The working staffs are very good, they cooperate very good, they treat us very well. I had a look of all the types of cottages over there, they all are designed beautifully, views from balcony is the best view u can have. The view towards the mountain is damn beautiful and too good. The location of the resort is perfect. And the location and view of swimming pool is just awesome. The swimming pool is located at the tip corner of the mountain. They also have a good restaurant. A for sure visit to get a break from your workaholic life. A good place for relaxation. A good place to spend a wonderful and memorable time with your family. I'll surely recommend people to visit this place. And mainly the rates here is reasonable. Had a memorable time here. Overall a wonderful resort.

Location: Perfect just perfect. Amidst the vast coffee plantation and secludedly located. It is a perfect place for a week long healing and regain mental calmness. Food: Honestly one of the best resort food I ever had. Every menu was perfect(perhaps lucky too). Sincerely request folks to try the local Coorg Pork here. Being an avid Pork lover,no shame in admitting that the local Pork was by far the best Pork I ever had(better than home). Service: One of the best hospitality received in any resort. Service was responsive, amicable and helpful. Overall: No complaints and totally top notch.

Location in a coffee plantation and on a mountain, we get many options to stay. Rooms are available near the coffee plantation, on the mountain overlooking the valley also a tree house which is super cosy. It's a great place to stay. Amazing view and good food is served.

Stayed there for 2 nights in AUGUST 2018. Resort is in the lap of nature and amazing view from the restaurant. Being monsoon I think we were the only guests there. Rooms are ok. Though housekeeping needs improvement. Inspite of calling them for housekeeping they just left the towels and went off. Rubbbish was not emptied. Lizards were found in the rooms. The location is far away from the city and no restaurants closeby. There is recreation room with carroms, table tennis etc which children enjoyed. Food is average with limited varieties. No buffet breakfast. It was onl A la Carte. Though the resort has fabulous views there is room for improvement in housekeeping and food. Overall stay was ok.
