The estate is calm and serene. Perfect for a family get-together. Set in a 15 acre coffee plantation, the stay could be enjoyed by taking long-walking trips, driving on solitary roads, surrounded by greenery, and at times blissful weather. It could be a time wonderfully spent for yourself and family. For a family, it is a cheap and wonderful destination. Remi and Ajith, the hosts, were wonderful people - warm and concerned. Wonderful car parking space too. January to March the ideal time to experience a sweet land stay.

It is no way compared with their name. One the Host doesn't know what it is about Guest Experience. I reached around 6 p.m. I thought our Host would ask me if i wanted coffee or tea, which she did not.I had to ask her for everything. Place has bare min and nothing great. Other than the bathroom which is clean, beds are ok . Comforter smells . Too much of oil in the food. On the last day, she tells me if there were more people, they would have cooked an elaborate meal.. HAHAHA .. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody .

I could have remarked stay in this coffee estate as great , if I could somehow erase the last bit of shock element, which largely came from my host, the estate owner. When we were about to leave I met he r to pay the bill, but when she handed me the piece of paper , I was shocked, she added expenses , of which I knew not of and charged for stuffs like , driver food and stay , which she never mentioned she is going to charge us for. Food is bad in hands down. Teh estate owner is sweet but don;t get carried away, she would show any of it when it comes to some humanly consideration. Even polite request for consideration of just 500/- just because there w as not atm facility in and around the place could not just melt her down. Adamantly, she extracted what she had made her mid to extract! If all's well that ends well, then our stay was no way the best I wanted!

This place is a real heaven, surrounded by natural beauty. We stayed there from 6 Oct 2011 to 8 Oct 2011.The couple are very welcoming and the food served was great with clean utensils.Real Value for money is this place.I can say that this place is the best I have ever visited. They have their own coffee estate and even a small garden and few birds as their pets. The couple will also help you out in finding various directions and sightseeing places in coorg. We reached their around midnight but the couple were warm enough to tell us the way all trough and even Mr Ajith came down to the junction to pick us up.Overall the name Sweet Land Estate fits perfectly to this place. Do visit this place if u want to live in the lap of nature and enjoy homely atmosphere away from home.

I stayed at Sweetland Estate home stay on 21st and 22nd May, 2010. Location of this estate is very beautiful, the coffee estate and the flower decoration in the campus make this palce the real 'Sweetland'. The hosts are very friendly and they keep everything very clean and in a good shape. The food provided was really good, the beautiful and clean crockery provided to the visitors shows the detail with which the hosts are willing to provide the service. This was my third visit to coorg and I would say this is the best place to stay if you want to enjoy the real natural beauty. I would just suggest the host to provide some indoor/outdoor games for visitors. Other than that, everything else exceeds expectations.
