I've been to a lot of resorts, hotels and homestays across the country and especially in Corbett. I'm in Corbettt practically every month irrespective of the season. This is one place where I actually found myself to be closer to nature. Not just because of the serene environment and the sounds of the chirping birds, but mainly because of the great hospitality I was welcomed to throughout my stay. The man - Mr. Manral - popularly known as Manral ji tells you so much about the jungle and its flaura and fauna that you start feeling a part of the environment. Very popular around the entire Corbett National Park belt, this man has really developed his HomeStay with a lot of love and affection for nature. This is a must go to place for anyone who loves to be amongst nature. Best Wishes to Manral Ji, his highly hospitable son Bhupendra and Roopsi - who has created a super cafe in the home stay.

Eco Harryman's Homestay is a rare find in India - run by dedicated conservationists that gave me a very warm and hospitable welcome. This is not a place to come for luxury, but for a genuine and heart-warming Indian village experience in a beautiful natural setting. Lovely jungle walks with knowledgeable guides, wholesome organic food and a calm and peace about the whole place that was truly blissful after the madness of Delhi. All the best to Manohan Singh Manral and his team - good luck in the future with this worthwhile and admirable eco tourism venture! I hope to be back soon, and bring the whole family.

We traveled to Pawalgarh in Feb '15 to participate in the 2nd Uttarakhand Spring Bird Festival & couldn't find much options left for accommodation as almost all were filled! That made us dig deeper & voila, we came across this awesome place!!! It was a fantastic experience staying here. Manral ji welcomed us in his own warm style at midnight in the middle of the jungle road leading towards Pawalgarh conservation reserve. Enjoyed our stay home cooked food with birds chirping everywhere through the day & jackals howling at nightfall with the stream gushing nearby... Very economical stay with very good hospitality from our hosts. They made every single effort to make our stay memorable! Be it the food or the landscape, everything exceeded our expectations from a typical home-stay. And, guess what? We are still in constant touch with them (Manral ji & his son Vicky). Hope to visit at the earliest again! Contact Number - +91 78300 20186 Regards, Soumendu

This place is very different from conventional hotels you see all over. Typical rural look. Emphasis on community living. Surrounded by lush green gardens all over. Manoharji is a warm person. It was a pleasure to talk to him about his concept. This is more a village home. If you are a lover of rural atmosphere then this is the place for you. Pawalgarh, as such, is surrounded by dense forests. If you drive from Pawalgarh gate to Sitabani temple, some 11 KM away, early in the morning or late in the evening there is a good chance of seeing tigers and elephants. But then you have to be lucky.
