What's Good: Outstanding service and exceptional product
What needs to improve : A very narrow road to the hotel, how to get to the hotel map, little more recreational activities or shows at the resort.
Reason For Rating : Excellent property and hospitality. I had a perfect getaway and enjoyed my stay to the core. It couldn't have been better. Highly recommendable place.

What's Good: Maintaining the jungle atmosphere yet keeping the cleanliness and comfort standards is a challenge overcome by the hotel staff meticulously. Yes you are in the middle of the jungle yet they do all they can to make the stay as comfortable as any urban property.

Lovely location near the National Park, very peaceful, just the jungle sounds which was very relaxing. Bungalows well equipped and comfortable for what we needed and the service was outstanding. We enjoyed early morning and evening bush walks with a naturalist who took time and explained different traces and sounds along the river beds and jungle. We were not lucky enough to see tiger, however heard the roar and saw many paw prints so maybe next time we will be lucky. The food in the lodge is delicious and varied and the chef made all our food to order making suggestions for us too. We also loved the evening documentary. Staff were all very helpful. I would highly recommend and will be coming back.

Such a special place. We are a family of 4 (with 2 kids < 12 yrs), booked for 3 nights but enjoyed it so much we extended for a 4th. A stunning property, great location, friendly & helpful staff, expert guides, fabulous food - we loved it all. And some nice touches like showing wildlife documentaries on an outdoor screen each evening by the pool before dinner, which our kids loved. The evening & morning trail walks with Mr B were a highlight (only for >15 year olds tho), as good as the game drives so definitely make time for a few of those. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

When we booked the resort, we didn't really check how deep into the forest it was. We drove there, were cordially welcomed and had a very good time for 3 days. The river walk in the morning was specially great. We never got a chance to have lunch there but breakfast and dinner were quite good all through the stay. The staff was also very cordial and rooms were spacious and really kept clean. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

For the uninitiated, can look beyond the unnecessary luxuries, and if one should want to experience living in the wild - Jims retreat hits all the right notes. The personal touch will want you to keep coming back. Txs Rati

I stayed in late Oct which is after the rains and not really best time for game viewing. Had pre-booked private vehicle with guide, and was pleasantly surprised by high quality of guiding (Rakesh). Stayed in a lodge so had views over grounds although at this time of year everything was very green and verdant so you dont see much. Did have some birds and a snake though. Room was very comfortable, great shower and lots of hot water. As others have said portion sizes are very large since majority of meals were served to me rather than buffet style where you can help yourself. Generally tasty food, although I obviously perplexed them by asking for vegetarian as they asked me every meal if I wanted chicken.
