The heater was the best part to see when we checked in. The room was very warm when we entered. I would request the management to take care in cleaning the balcony as well when providing during check-in. The food also was not so good in the hotel, but we had no choice in ordering from the restaurant since it was very cold outside. Overall we had a good and happy experience during our stay.

Good hotel to stay

The food was delicious and the staff support is also good. This hotel is a nice place to stay with good location. It is a budget hotel and therefore those who are looking to have maximum in less cost, this option is good.
Not worth the cost.

Now as I mentioned in my earlier review of Alps resort, our booking was for just one day. So the next day we shifted to Grace Mount. I was expecting a much better reception at Grace Mount simply because I was paying double what I paid at Alps. But I was mistaken. We were shown a Deluxe room (Room No. 201) which was smaller than the standard room of Alps. The bed cover was dirty. On asking that it should be changed, we were answered that it was merely used to cover the bed. The quilts were stored in a cupboard and were not cleaned. Paint was peeling off the walls. There were no toiletries in the bathroom though our room was supposed to have them as per their room advertisement. Tiles in bathroom were broken. We asked for toiletries and were promptly told that there weren't any. In the name of toiletries there was a used soap in bathroom and nothing else. To the credit of hotel, they did provide us with complimentary tea and coffee sachets that we can use to make tea in our room. Morning breakfast was average though the service compared to yesterday was fast but that was because we were first one to order the breakfast. We ordered aloo parantha, gobhi parantha, boiled egg, poori sabzi and tea. Tea was good. Aloo Parantha was average, wife liked gobhi parantha. Poori sabzi was ok. The view from room was good. The balcony came handy. I enjoyed my tea while sitting in the balcony and viewing nature - something I was not able to do at Alps. But then I could have done that, had I got the deluxe room there. Overall I would say avoid this hotel if you can. It is simply not worth the money considering the competition and the rooms available at half it's rate.
Decent Hotel with Excellent Service
by shahpy83 on June 4, 2016
I travelled to this Hotel on 21st & 22nd May. It is situated on Khajjiar Road about 2-3Kms away from the Market area. Which is really a good thing as one can good view of the hills surrounding the Hotel. The rooms are ok with minimal furniture. The Room we are allotted had bath tub. The main thing that really stands out is the excellent hospitality provided by the hotel staff. They are ready for service the moment you call them.
Worst property with zero hygiene
by vindhyarshah on June 3, 2016
Pleassssss avoid this property at all cost. Was book by a fraud travel agent Gulliver Adventures, Chandigarh( Sahil Pandit). Lobby was untidy, dirty and messy. Rooms were dingy, no space for extra bed, not dusted for years, towels were unclean, only a soap provided in bathroom( for Rs 3800/- per night room).
A pleasant stay away from city crowd

The hotel is situated on the Khajjiar road and with the view of hills is excellent. We had booked the Luxury Suite room directly from the hotel. I would especially like to thank Mr Vikram for make our stay a memorable one. It is a value for money hotel with quick room service and well maintained rooms. Location was excellent with helpful and courteous staff. the only draw back is that the mobile network is really poor in the luxury suite rooms with wifi available only in the reception near office lobby. The luxury suite room had a king size bed and a big bathroom and it has air conditioniner in room too. The food was really good and breakfast was laid on time and we were well informed once it was laid. The hotel provided a variety of options in the breakfast, such as omlettete, boiled eggs, parathas, poori sabjim chole bathure, fruits, corm flecks, milk, tea, coffee, etc
Try taking the front rooms i.e facing the road. You will get the mountain view.
