the place is nice witha friendly staff. They have their own space for parking cars on the rooftop. the food is good. The Mall road is walking distance , however not the same as in other hill stations. The Mall road is a disappointment-- nothing much there.

I would recommend this hotel, if you are looking for a quite place to stay in Dalhousie, with nice rooms and amenities. Hotel is located close to Subhash chowk. I booked a deluxe room for two nights and room was spacious with clean toilets. Stuffs are very courteous and helpful. Can't comment on foods because i had meals outside. Pros: Very close to Subhash Chowk. Rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. Stuffs are courteous and helpful. Cons: Although Subhash chowk is just 2 minute's walking distance, but it's totally uphill. Views from hotel are not that good.

One of the Many mid range leaning towards budget friendly hotels. One big plus though is the terrace parking that can easily accommodate 8-10 cars. In Dalhousie that's a definite positive. The hotel is pretty close (100 metres) to the Subhash Chowk. This is your typical hill station hotel with warm water, average food and some sun light. I do not have any complains but the hotel doesn't have any Wow factors as well. I went there in the last week of December last year and 80% of the hotel was empty, not sure if it was due to to less number of tourists. They do not have power backup, however they did provide me with hot water from some other room (with some hesitation) when there was no electricity. I'd probably go there again only if I am on a tight budget.

Its an excellent budget hotel to stay at Dalhousie. I stayed here from 01 May to 04 May 2017. Its located at a prime location at Subhash Chowk, overlooking the valley. Rooms are very well maintained and clean. There is lot of parking space at roof, so parking is not an issue on narrow roads of Dalhousie. The food is excellent, tasty, fresh and nicely served with average pricing. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and very fast in room service. Free wifi in rooms and that too with a good speed is a big bonus (we could play you tube without buffering). Being just a stones throw away from Subhash Chowk, you can hang out late at night, multiple dining options, road side chaat, ATMs, cake shops are nearby. Highly recommended by me, had a very pleasant stay there.

A good budget option but lacks some much needed facilities We visited the wild rose hotel in the second week of April. The property is barely minutes away on the road to Shubash Circle from bus stand. The staff is quite friendly and seems to listen to the guests. Rooms are available at -1 to -3 floors from the reception and the ones at -3 level have the privilege of having a large balcony to themselves but are a bit small in size. If you plan to stay at the hotel and relax, then I would recommend staying at -3 level. The food provided is tasty and served hot. The cooking staff also takes care of any special requests in the flavor etc. However, their are some major things the hotel staff and owners should take care of. 1. Their is no restaurant right now. So, the guests need to utilize their rooms to eat meals. 2. The food was served neatly, but kitchen seems to be a makeshift one and could be a bit clean, if possible. Tips 1. If you are going by your own car, their is parking facility available. There are two ramps leading to the roof top parking and the one around the hotel is better. 2. The view is quite good and room adjacent to the starts on the right are comparatively bigger.
