I was working on various camp sites in Uttarakhand and thought of paying a visit to TaapuSera with my family and friend's family. The approach road from Maldevta gave a thrill to us that there would be some adventures ahead. Parking was roadside below a hanging bolder. Its a nature connect camp in true sense. The mobile signal is terribly weak better not to use it. A 100mtr downhill trek to the camp, we were greeted with welcome drinks and the hospitality of the camp personnel. We were briefed about the program, do's and dont's, timings of activities. Then till next day it was awesome - activities, trek to water fall, river crossing, swimming, tent pitching, games alongwith sumptuous foods. Just an experience. Go there to feel the nature and relive. Thumbs up to the NIM trained crew for there vigilance. Every step you take on any adventure activities they are watching you. Will visit again.. Oh: beware of "Bichuti" leaves - a mere touch gives you a stinging sensation. Recommend to trek with trousers and full sleeve on.

We visited this place with our friend. The initial walk itself was a beautiful experience in itself and once we reach camp , it was like reaching in heaven. Wide area, , clean bathrooms, unique bathing areas and on the above a natural swimming pool. We were still enjoying this place as somebody asked us to walk towards the river... As we walked few meters from the camp we see a beautiful river song flowing next to the camp.... It was mesmerising... In all and all a best place .....

Scenic and enigmatic- Tapu Sera Camp is a gem hidden in the paradise. Very near to Dehradun city this place is a nature lover's dream destination. The camp had many adventure activities to pick from, I chose zip lining and loved the adrenalin rush it gave me. My favorite part was chilling next to the bon-fire with the background of the subtle sound of river flowing- absolutely divine. Highlight of this camp also includes the trek to the nearby waterfalls that have crystal clear water. The rooms were neat and well maintained and the food was drool worthy (especially non-veg). The staff was polite and very helpful. This camp is the closest i have ever been to the nature and cannot wait to go again. Perfect to go with friends and family as well as alone for just some 'me' time.

Every holiday, I always plan to do something adventurous and go out backpacking and camping. Well thinking of as any other camping site, me and cousins reached the camp site around 7pm. It is almost 50 mins drive from the city near Maldevta, never had I thought that I will unlock this beautiful campsite on the outskirts of Dehradun. The camp site is easy to locate and thankfully the new road added to the comfortable ride. The camp is amidst the lush green forest and the whole aura makes u feel alive. The best part is the natural stream running parallel to the camp site and one can enjoy in the nature's abode. Not to forget the management is super awesome and made some mouth watering dishes we still savor. The place is well maintained, clean and organised, the best part about the camp is the way they have used the available natural resources and derive output from it. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for small groups, families and corporates for outing, adventure and training purposes. Kudos to the Team Nature Connect, special thanks to Mr. Ajay (Co Owner), whose company made it all the more fun. Cheers.

Went there with 08 more school friends. At about 20 odd km from Dehradun city centre and about 8 km uphill drive from Maldevta, 'TAPU SERA camp' is an ideal destination for nature lovers. Adjacent to a small but a beautiful and perennial river stream with crystal clear water, the location of the camp is beautiful. Permanent camps offer basic but comfortable accommodation. Unlike the beach camps of Rishikesh, these camps have attached bathrooms with running water. Food is good. The setting for the Bonnfire is lovely (two concentric circles made of stone so no chairs required). During the summers, it would be wonderful to spend time in the river. Small river so even safe for the kids. Exotic waterfalls close to the camp provides an idyllic setting for a picnic lunch or drinks. No tourists there so these waterfalls are like an exclusive spots for the guests at the camp. There are several trekking routes close to the camps and in terms of simple adventure activities, one can indulge in valley-crossing, rappelling, swimming etc. Nice scenic drive from Dehradun to the camps. Hardly 5 km out of the city's congestion and unruly traffic, you start to see the beautiful fields where the villagers still use the traditional way of ploughing using bullocks, hardworking pahadi women seen on the top of trees cutting small branches for firewood and one experiences the overall serene calmness in the atmosphere that one misses in the cities. There are rough patches on the road as there are frequent landslides in few stretches but it adds to the excitement of going on a camping holiday rather than diminishing it. We rode two wheelers to reach there and loved it. The camp is popular with school/college groups and corporates for team building activities. But I would surely recommend this for families (ideally in a group) with kids who are looking for an exotic uncrowded place and light adventure activities. This is a place which may not have a class but surely has a lot of charm. And for the nature's lovers it is the latter that counts. As for our group of school-friends, we had a whale of time there chatting-gossiping, laughing, singing, eating, drinking till late night. Already thinking about the next trip.....
