  • Messed up place!!!

    by Sarah14356 on

This place is only for people who got excessive money to blow away. 1. I booked it as pay@resort option... luckily the next day I checked the reviews. To find out more I called at the resort the owner themselves picks up. So no reception/no concierge is available!! For two nightt they were selling me a package of 30k excluding the MEALS at the hotel. Buffet breakfast -- with limited option like two varieties only for free though if u have booked a free option) Also only selected type of meals are available of their choice like literary a handful of dishes. Out of the menu is reachable but it's at your risk. Sicne that won't be running food. In their explaination :organic production the reason for expensive food ( if one buys that). Acc to them "it's the same as we go in a restaurant and eat, will get the similar 2-3k bill per meal"" ---but @restaurnt we are getting a dine in service with a extensive menu where chefs specializes in extraordinary meals. Here they have handpicked few dishes to serve...NO VARIETY also NO DINE -In option at room...cz as they said and I quote "there is no much space and it gets dirty" So no good team of housekeeping /cleaning staff also. 2. Sitting at bonfire is at charge - cz they don't support pollution and burning of woods...but they will give it at cost if someone asks..(such a contradictory thought process ..nd so confused) So no hospitality/ no concierge/ no variety menu / no dine-in / no bonfire/no vale for money at all...etc. I wonder the air we breathe come at a price already cz i don't know the plants they must have put could be like some variety from the Amazon forest or so ..lol If you don't want to spoil your holiday fighting about money and the rules @their propery for everything.I suggest stay at some good stay hotel with all the facilities. Regards.

We felt so good and relax in this amazing property. Not just because of the Ambience and the warmth of the resort but the hospitality of the owners of the resort. everything from food quality 2 bedrooms to the common area where we hung around was just superb. Definitely worth of visit again and again. the greenery and the plantation give you the relaxation you can only imagine by visiting this place.

  • Perfect Weekend Getaway

    by 10Shivam on

I stayed at Shaheen Bagh along with my family friends during a weekend in later January. The place is located a bit off of Dehradun city and hence it is very peaceful. The decor is very quaint, and I liked it very much. A great deal of attention has been paid to the flora in the resort. The place is also a paradise for bird watchers. The host, Mr. Arun Gupta, was gracious and very friendly. He's also an excellent photographer and Shaheen Bagh is adorned with his photography. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a quiet, relaxing weekend which will leave you feeling rejuvenated.

  • Perfect getaway to sit in the lapse of nature for the busy city dwellers

    by Dimpi15 on

I made a trip last July in the Monsoon, though not the ideal season but the experience of monsoon in the lap of nature was surprisingly cozy and heartfelt because of the beautiful location and warm hospitality of lovely and lively couple Mr. Arun and Mrs. Sandhya( host and owner) of Shaheen Bagh. The resort is ideally located for one to experience the Himalayan landscape amidst the lush green forest and to get up to see and hear some exotic birds. The property is picturesque, and has the warmth of cozy home blended with the amenities and service of a resort, making one feel safe and pampered away from the city. One can sit for hours in the library building reading or gazing at the beautiful landscape. A great place to spend exclusive time with friends and family. Thank you Mr. Arun and Mrs.Sandhya for the hospitality and hoping to visit you soon!!

We were celebrating a short break with our Parents and decided to stay at this boutique resort called Shaheen Bagh. The resort is brilliantly located amidst a forested area and its 17 Rooms, Suites & Villas are rich in comfort and individual styles. The Owners welcomed and interacted with us over our 2 nights stay with a sense of belonging & warmth without being intrusive. The food was home style and simply divine and one enjoyed being pampered by their efficient and always smiling staff. One of the staff members- Rawat Ji escorted us to a clean and gushing rivulet where we clicked some memorable picks and soaked up some sun. The resorts landscaping is well thought out with a variety of flora & fauna. Theres a great view of the swimming pool and dense hills from the Villa terrace. The Rooms and Suites are done up tastefully with modern comforts with an emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness. A great place to relax and enjoy! Hope to be there this Summer to enjoy the pool and Shaheen Bagh......
