This is an average hotel in Dhanbad city. we stayed here just for one night. Bedding was clean but service was at all not good. The staff is not professional and gooms are not very good. The guest house is economic but not really good.

Do not book room in this guest house ONLINE

I booked a double bed room for an exam in December 2013. When I reached there, I was provided a make shift room which was probably being used by the guest house owners family. As I had booked online and owner knew this that I had already paid money so he took liberty is allocating room on his choice (read worst room). The room smelt, floors were dirty, chairs broken and walls cracking and hell lot of mosquitoes. TV was also not working and when I complained about it, the absurd fellow at the counter laughed at me as if I I had demanded something funny !!!! The owner seems too smart of his little internet knowledge. It is not fit even for average stay. There is nothing like guest house. It could be better renamed as Geetanjali hostel.

I booked two double rooms on 27th november,2013 for 15th december,2013 for that hotel by cleartrip realising the reputation enjoyed by the site. When I checked in, the guest house authorities denied to provide accomodation in one booking despite being confirmed booking by cleartrip.they said that they were able to provide one room only and for the second room I should better file refund from cleartrip.I told them that I had confirmed booking vouchers of two rooms. they told that at your booking time the inventory was not updated which was updated thenonly. I was shocked to hear this as I had two confirmed booking. As this was an exam day, there was no vacancy in the hotels across the city. My guests were on road by then and that was an embarrassing situation. I contacted cleartrip several times, though my phone was on roaming, but they also rose their hands and expressed inability to provide alternative accomodation. by that time i incurred almost 100 rs. while contacting cleartrip as most of the time the phone was on hold.I told them to manage somehow as my guests started blaming me for the failure. The guest house authority agreed to accommodate one extra person to my room.the misery did not end there. there was no television in the room and the tap in the wash basin was also broken and to wash hands and mouth we had to go outside. we all three somehow manage to spend that sleepless and helpless night as the bed was not big enough for three persons.Mind it that the next day was exam and sleeplessness could hamper your performance and that happened too a bit.In the morning the hotel authorities came and demanded 150 rs for extra person. I was again shocked as this was not said before. However,I paid them 150 Rs to get rid of that horrible experience and vowed never to stay in that hotel.this was a totally new experience of hotel booking from cleartrip which I never want to be repeated
