It was an amazing stay, wonderful hotel, and very helpful staff! Hotel is very close to Dalai-Lama temple, and the view from the rooms it's just breathtaking. Rooms are clean and they have hot water and AC works as a heater just perfect for Himalayas weather. And the owner himself is a very nice person, don't be shy and ask him about everything he will gladly help. Enjoy your stay!

Very neat & Clean hotel with beautiful valley view. Very helpful and courteous staff specialy Mr.Amit at reception who is alwayz ready with smile on his face and very helpful too. Its just 500 mtrs walkable distance with steep climb from his holiness Dalai Lama Monastery and past temple you will be at the tibetan market. Though Breakfast can be better as very few options but taste vise its gud and moreover they provided me breakfast at 12 pm also as i missed my breakfast due to some urgent work. Great place to stay. Highly recommended for family and friends.

We booked 10 nights through agoda and extended 1 night directly to the hotel. We got room no 501 (with balcony and fridge) and 502 (without balcony and no fridge). The rooms are clean and neat. We can get the best view from their rooftop on the 5th floor and enjoy breakfast or dinner there. The location is also good, near the Dalai Lama Temple and cafes. You can take a taxi for Rs100 from the hotel to the main square and Rs200 from the hotel to the Bhagsu waterfall. You can also order food from their restaurant for lunch or dinner. We love their veg garlic noodles and the veg spring rolls...all are vegetarian food. Their staffs were friendly, they told us when HH the Dalai Lama would pass the road in front of the hotel so we could join in front of the hotel. For sure we will stay again in King Castle Hotel if we visit Mcleodganj...keep up the good work all!

I fell in love with the rooms on the ground floor 501,502,503. Great valley view, good staff, clean and cozy. It is value for money. Its located on the main road with easy connectivity to dharamshala and mclodgang. It was very peaceful that I extended my stay. Vikram uncle in the restaurant is so humble, it felt like home with him. And not to mention the food, it's delicious. It takes time but its worth a wait. I love the corn palak sabji.. I was very satisfied with the stay.. it's a small property but better then many big properties.

We booked 2 rooms at King Castle in the month of July. Below is the detailed review :- 1. Check in- Check in was smooth. We were offered tea in welcome drink which was really required as it was really cold. 2. Room: We have got 1 Superior room and 1 Premier room. They have 2 Superior rooms from floor 1-3. These rooms have a balcony giving you view of the hills. I really liked the room. It was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom were nice and clean 3. Food: This is a vegetarian hotel. We had breakfast in our plan but we also had dinner at the hotel once. The food was good but they definitely need to upgrade the breakfast menu. It was almost same all the 3 days. Though the food taste good and fresh but the menu needs a refresh. For all the 3 days they served watermelon in cut fruit which could at least be changed each day. 4.Location: Hotel Is approximately 200 MT down from the famous Dalai Lama temple. Market is a very high steep up so we preferred a cab from the hotel to the Main market which is easily available at the price of 100 rs. Overall a nice hotel with comfortable stay just a minor upgrades are required.
