Helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Close to venue. Restaurant in the hotel premises. Affordable tariff. In the city centre and accessible to railway station and other landmarks. Front desk friendly and responsive.

Booked room on Dec 15th 2018. We requested whether we can checkout till later. Owner Ravi and person at the lobby said that would be OK even though normal checkout is at 9:30am. Paid Rs 2000 while checking in. Next day we attended engagement party in the morning. At 2 pm we returned to checkout since we had luggage in the rooms. The owner said that we have to pay for 2 days and balance amount is 1800/- We said that he had mentioned that we could keep the luggage in room till 2pm and guests are expected on 16th at 5pm. On that owner Ravi lied that he had communicated to us that we have to pay for 2nd day as well. Feeling cheated by the owner and the way they interacted and talk to customers.
Brindavan lodge + hotel review
by Vagaboundgal on
Stayed for 5 days in the next door lodge owned by the same management. It was the cheapest deal and i was mostly not in the room so it was ok. The all male staff made me feel safe and comfortable and i am very thankful for their kindness. I saw families and male traveler living in the lodge. I am certain i am the first single female traveler. :) Two things that bugged me was the frequent visit of a rat. I did not see it but had the misfortune of seeing its droppings in the room that was taken care by the staff on two consecutive days. Renovation work was going on when i stayed and noise was intolerable. I would ideally choose the Brindavan hotel as all my friends were put up there but the manger refused to give me a room on single occupancy. Despite me offering to pay as much as double occupancy. Very disappointing! They lost out one well paying customer for sure!!!! The restaurant food is overrated. They use Dalda in every dish. Stick to Hoysala restaurant for food during your stay in Dharwad.
Stay at Hotel Brindavan

A very good hotel to stay for 2-3 days. Breakfast and meals are really tasty and mouthwatering. Rooms are specious. staff are co-operative and polite. Rooms/corridors are very clean. Location is easy to find out and close to highway.
An Excellent Budget Hotel.

This hotel is an excellent budget hotel to break journey if you are travelling from Mumbai or Pune to Bangalore by road. Dharwad lies exactly midway between Pune and Bangalore on the NH4 highway. You have to leave the highway and drive in about 6 km into Dharwad city to reach the Court Circle where this hotel is located. Though we did not have a booking we were immediately allotted a non a/c deluxe room at a very reasonable rate. There was a basement car parking which can easily accommodate about 10 cars. The room was spacious and well ventilated. The furniture and fixtures were relatively new and there was an LCD TV with a satellite connection. The bathroom was large and clean. There was a South Indian Fast Food restaurant on the ground floor which seemed quite popular with the local crowd. We had our dinner there and were quite satisfied with the taste of their butter dosas. Service was fast and courteous. All in all it was a value for money stay. I would definitely stop here again if I have to break journey at Dharwad.
