I booked the best room 404 recently for three days with advance 2556. But after checking in I found that the room is very shabby, smelly towels, old non functional AC so I desired to check out rather to change the room. But I was harrashed and forced to pay extra Rs 4851 since I decided to check out next day, they wouldnt release us as per their company policy and harassed my family for an hour. Ultimately I paid the amount since I was on vacation and didn't wanna spoil it, also being an recurring customer of the same hotel but please note that you get cheated where you trust most. Please travellers check rooms and AC of hotels of ASHAmukti and artland before paying any advance. Thank

I visited during the first week of March. There wasnt a huge rush. Got a AC triple bed room @1800 +tax. It was a road facing room with a balcony. The bathroom had hot water supply. The tv had the basic channels. The cleanliness was ok. The wardrobe was a bit dirty. Over all okish. Outside food is not allowed and the hotel food is okish.

It is a budget hotel located on the main road close to New Digha taxi, auto, toto stand. The hotel has a small kitchen. Hot water is available but not in bathrooms directly. A very big advantage of the hotel is its location. The New Digha Beach is 5 minutes walk as well as the Biswa Bangla park on New Digha beach. A lot of ATMs of major Indian banks and small restaurants are located in very close proximity. Rooms are of okay quality. We requested cleaning staff to clean rooms almost every day. Bedsheets were changed alternate days. Tea served through kitchen was good.

A planned 3 days of stay had to be cut short because of the behaviour of the staff. The food wasn't good either. The only good thing is their location and they have great potential provided the management looks seriously into the problems!!

I stayed there for two night three days on my visit to Digha with my family in October 2016...we took two rooms at the second floor... the hotel is okayish with decent interiors...most importantly the rooms and bathrooms were clean..a balcony was attached to one of the rooms.. the air conditions worked well as it is it was too hot in October...charges were quite high...there is no elevator facility which was a pain for my parents...one good thing that it was pretty close to the beach, hardly a 10 minute walk...restaurants and eateries are close by too...location is almost at the dead end of the hotel belt of Old Digha... car parking zone maintained by Digha authorities is nearby too which is meagerly chargeable...cannot comment on food as only thing we had in the hotel was the morning tea which was fine...the aged man at the reception was not a well-mannered person as he kept abusing another tourist party who stayed in the hotel itself using very offensive language and held a fiduciary tone as if he was the boss of Digha and can do anything he wishes to... thankfully we did not have to face any such from that manager... overall our stay went peaceful.. one MUST check out by 11 am itself if he does not wish to face the manager's threat....
