We booked for four beded ac room which was not fit for four beded. Ac working properly. Bathroom was clean and good condition except exhaust fan its create sound pollution. They have restaurant facility with limited options. In spite of that you have to give pre-order in morning for lunch. Otherwise the menu option may minimize or they can not serve food , but quality is good. Bathing beach is just 7/8 min walking distance from hotel.

I have visited this hotel hoping to be a good budget one. PLEASE PLEASE DONT BOOK THIS ONE. WORST IN CLASS. Staff and manager is limitless rude. They even misbehaved with my wife. They treat online customers very badly. The rooms are not at all well maintained. Every piece in the room is broken. We had to change three rooms. Nothing works properly. There are lots of other hotels. Please go for those ones.

Hi Folks, Was at this hotel during 1st 4th April 2017 with family. We booked 5 A.C Standard room from GoIbibo. Pros: 1. Hotel is near to the proximity of barrister colony sea beach, nearly 4/5 minutes walking. 2. Hotel is having a restaurant with tasty foods available but limited menu options. Cons: 1. Dont accept cards. 2. Some of the rooms we stayed are very small. 3. Food quantity comparing to similar hotel is less. (Breakfast is too expensive. We ordered for bread butter then provided 2 slice of bread and butter for 35.) Bed Linen is somewhat dirty and pillows are also not that standard. 4. Cleanliness should be more according to inside room and toilet. We stayed at April so dont want to comment on Geyser and other services that may be needed in winter. Someone can have TOTO to and from the hotel outside. We get one mostly when we was out. At Old digha there is many more hotel you can find within the price range they provide but Hotel Cosy Inn also not a bad option to stay at. Will recommended it but please call hotel before booking for your personal queries. Thanks.

We booked two Ac standard Double rooms from 13-16 April,2017 via Bookingdotcom. Confirmation email came to us on 12 February. On 13 April before boarding the train to Digha, we called the property to say that we were going to stay at their hotel. We mentioned all the information we could to them. The hotel denied our booking and said that we had to deposit an advance money into their account and then only we could get one room as all the rooms were already sold according to them. We insisted on Booking.com booking. Ultimately we had to stay at one double room of Cosy Inn and another room in another hotel of the same owner. The latter room was a horrible. I emailed the Booking.com stating the details of this before we accepted their option but got no response from the Booking.com. We are regular travelers. We did NOT expect any harassment of this intensity. we will think now onward before booking hotels via booking.com Friends, most of the hotels in Digha try to sell even the booked room at a higher price if you book from any other site than by directing contacting them. I have had another similar experience of a Digha Hotel that I booked via online and ultimately cancelled my reservation. Otherwise rooms are clean and facilities are okay. But carefully book these types of hotels

From comparing notes on Trip Advisor, live tourists, and rickshaw wallahs, inconsistency is the name of the game with hotels in Digha. For this property, I've summarized the good and bad. Good : air conditioning worked. Felt safe. Hot water available. Easy walk to beach Quiet Cook prepared food to suit religious restrictions and it was good Bathroom adequate Room had a nice window Bad: Hotel wanted wire transfer to be paid, they didn't want to pay the credit card commission (in spite of advertising taking credit cards ). It would have been a great deal of trouble to wire money. My husband talked them into holding the room without cash deposit in their hand. Hassle! They had trouble locating our online booking but after a phone call, succeeded. Our bathroom door was damaged, providing a way for mosquitoes to enter room, and no mosquito net. Unpleasant - and hazardous to health! The front desk controls the main power switch to the geezer, so to get hot water, you must ask them to turn it on. We traveled with another party and their geezer didn't work. Staff brought them hot water. Hassle! Staff speaks very limited English Bed linens smelled bad. So did towels. After several requests, they changed them the next day. Then it smelled better. Hassle to get fresh towels daily. Blanket looked dirty. They swapped it out the first night at our request. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. No public place to sit and visit. The small lobby serves as more of a transit area and place for staff to relax. No furniture in the courtyard area. When traveling as a group, it's nice to have a common place to gather and drink tea. Our standard deluxe room had one chair, no room for more, and the tiny verandah accommodated but one chair. Not very comfortable to sit in room with no scenic view. The best part was the food and location If you plan on doing your own laundry, bring hangers. Don't count on them being provided.
