What's Good: very good for pleasant stay with good location.
What needs to improve : No moscuito killer, no breakfast and Bed sheet and Towels are dirty .
Reason For Rating : Hotel clean but moscuitoes disturbed very much in night time. And it would be better if Breakfast is provided complimentary as they charge the rent high. Waiters service are satisfactory but they ask for tips frequently. After all it was a pleasant stay.

I have been to Digha twice in a gap of years and we always checked in at this place. Best thing about this hotel , is the superb connection to the beach , and the market . There's not much in Digha to do, but swim in the ocean and take long strolls in the interesting local beach market . So I suggest , you should look for a place , where you can hang your boots safely , and venture around easily on foot. Walk around the market, see the fish shops, and shell artifacts, a dazzling buzzing street market like none other. Eat the local cuisine and then retire to bed. Best of luck .

I have booked rooms for 2 nights (more than 1month advance from now) and after booking I realized that I need to postpone my stay for 1 day but not cancel my stay as I liked the hotel from what I read about it. I booked their most premium cottage and was forced to pay the entire amount as an advance. But when I have requested them to accommodate this change they are forcing me to cancel and re-book again with a hefty 25% charge for this deferment of dates without cancellation of my stay. Nothing mentioned about changes in the terms and conditions in the website. The front office guys does the communication and are quite rigid in their demands. These guys can be cheat and land you in all sort of discomforts - as such a word of CAUTION - book and pay at your own risk only. No idea how actually the hotel can satisfy when the booking itself seems to be a headache. I have opted as stayed else this page do not upload - but thought to warn people before others also land into trouble. I am really frustrated - beware !!!

The hotel staff ( specially reception) is extremely rude. The room and toilet was dirty. The mattress was smelling of urine.. Probably some kid did that during the stay and the hotel didn't even got it cleaned.. The marks can b seen. The toilet was dirty and unhygienic. The food was exorbitantly expensive with very poor taste. (mostly served raw food.. We ordered matar paneer in which matar were raw.. And kasa mutton.. Mutton didn't melt.. Fed the dogs.. Only the location is good.. Rest is very poor.. Don't pick this hotel ever.

Our stay in Hotel Sea Hawk was not so pleasant as we felt that this old hotel needs renovation from inside. It needs to expend more on cleanliness and has to be renovated to keep up at the best level. The location no doubt is the most pleasant in Old Digha.

Hotel room has view through coconut tree from main building, but little bit of obstacle is also there from a watch tower and public toilet Rooms are clean. Service provided on time. Food quality is good and price is not so high, so you can prefer to have food in room and enjoy sea. One big problem is almost everybody except 1-2 providing room service will start asking for some tip for any service provided. They always have some asking like "we are 5", so even 50 rupees per tip is not enough some time. Finally during checkout every room service stuff stand in queue and start asking for tip saying "we are 5". This is the disgusting part of this hotel. Check in is smooth as well as check out. They accept card. Cars/TOTO for local sight seeing is available in gate. Changed Digha can be seen from here.
