What's Good: Hotel is good but it is too much out from sea beach and food is too much costly

Worst place to stay..as we checked in on 21st July 2018 ..nd at night we bought food from outside which is of course mine choice but not available in hotel restaurant..but at so rainy day ,when it was raining heavily outside they told us"have food outside their hotel premises" as it is not permitted here..as a hotelier dey don't have da courtesy to allow us to have food in dere restaurant,when my husband asked dem to allow us to have food in da restraunt as a girl is with them and when da availablity is still dere they refused ..nd even dey asked us that" when you cant have outside as it's raining heavily den throw da food !!lots of customer threw dere food today " and even we had breakfast and lunch from dere hotel only ..so when I went told dat Mr Mukherjee told dat "it's not a huge bill which you paid so dat we will considered as we are not allowed to do so .." but is it da way to talk with customers...ill-mannered staff so suggest people not to visit with family.....and even in da morning breakfast which was complimentary or dey would give you a coupon of worth RS 200 if u dont take da complimentary service but dat depends on da customer permission what u want to do..!!!but Mr Mukherjee in reception decided already by himself what customer Will do and directly gave us RS 200 cash back to us without our suggestion.....I don't know how dese hotel even get 3 star rating..which dey don't deserve...as being a women it's a harrassment for us as in dese crutial environment when it was raining heavily I went outside with my husband nd frnds to have food outside...even rooms were fill with cockroaches.. worst environment to stay also..as previous stay at dese place was good so I visit dese place whenever I come to Digha..but being a regular customer no one would expect dese type of behaviour..so suggest people if u r traveling with a lady or family beware of dese hotel....as dey will take decision by themselves what customer will do...

Very comfortable stay. Spacious & Luxurious rooms with all basic amenities. Booked 2* 5 bedded AC rooms . A well maintained swimming pool is the best part of this resort. Also has games like carrom and billiards. Food is also good but better to place the order well in advance to get the food in time. Room service is not extra ordinary but no negative marking as well. The manager is very guest friendly... Allowed early check-in and suggested places to visit...

Recently we visited digha and stayed at ownland resort. All things are positive here except two things.1>If you go by your own car the parking may be a problem if the hotel is filled with guests coming with their own vehicle.2>The sea beach is a bit far from the hotel.But this problem can be overcome by large no of totos running in digha.So I request the authourity to see the parking problem. Thanks

Well this is our first trip towards this part of India and didn't know what to expect. Been to Goa so expectations were similar. This review is based on our stay for just 9 hrs stay in this property. We arrived at the property at around 12:30 midnight. Had spoken to the hotel so they knew we were coming, however on arrival no one opened gate for good 15 mins, called up hotel number and a guy came in confused state and speaking bengali(i m punjabi). Language barrier crossed got car parked safely outside as property was full due to extended weekend. The guy kept waiting for us to carry our luggage and my 4 year old by ourselves and took us inside(w r astonished as hotels have helpers to pick ur luggage). Now at that hour same guy asked us to deposit our original ID proof to which we said flat NO as we already filled in their form and mentioned ID details, now this guy only speaking bengali and adamant on keeping proof. Finally hurdle crossed and he shows us way to room which is on first floor and we are carrying our luggage and kid. Got to know in morning that lift works and still this guy took us through stairs. Average room no complaints as just wanted sleep . The toilet jet was leaking and its holder broken. Their intercom doesn't work as tried calling after checkin as wanted to get milk warmed for kid. He had biscuits n slept. In morning around 8 there was a bang on the door a guy had come to give free breakfast coupon. We got up curtains aside to see view it was the backside of hotel all filthy and garbage. Got an intercom around 9:30 to ask what will we have for breakfast told them we are coming down for breakfast as we got complimentary food room service coupons. Options are bread butter, pasta or aaloo puri. The breakfast arrives pasta is bland and red color added, puri aaloo was nice.we asked for help with bags and was told someone will come in 5 minutes but no one did. Again we carried the luggage and kid thankfully we used lift. All in all never stayed in this type of a hotel and never did get this type of service, intercom not working and checkout at 9 or 10. However loved their aquarium and its fishes. They have a Nemo. Kid happy we happy. Will have to stay at more hotels to give better views.

very bad hotel Food is good, swiming pool is good, rooms are also fine but at the point of customer orientation, I am not happy. I stayed from 4th August to 6th August. Before check out twice I ask for my full and final bill, after 30 mins when I payed the money, they didn't gave me the recepit when I ask for it they said that they don't have any recepit in front of their manager. I don't know why? Next is when I request them to keep the bottle of soft drink in their fridge as the rooms don't have any fridge, the manager answer me very rudely and didn't kept my soft drink bottle. When I booked the room they told me Rs1650 room after discount they will provide me at Rs 1200.l, it was totally fake. till the date I am not refund back my amount.
