What's Good: Located next to a beach and away from city.
What needs to improve : Very few locations within walking distance. Had to rely on the bus which luckily was frequent (one each half an hour).
Reason For Rating : Breakfast + beverage could have been better. A kettle in the room would be nice. The room was nice but it had no view or window. And small things like that.

What's Good: The hospitality & warmth of owner , his family & staff.
What needs to improve : Mow the grass & maintenance of garden & path to go to beach. Should provide pickup & drop from pristine resort to diglipur downtown.

I visited Diglipur in February, 2018 for 2 nights and chose to stay at Pristine Beach resort. Please note that there are only two options for staying in Diglipur that is Pristine Beach resort and Turtle resort .It indeed the best decision. The resort is situated a little away from the city in nature's lap. Resort area is very beautiful , soothing to eyes and rooms are clean and comfortable. I loved the restaurant and food too. Breakfast was delicious and if you go there , try prawns curry and prawns biryani. One little drawback though, wi fi is available in rooms. It is only available in dining area and speed is very low. Area for witnessing turtle nesting, is very very close from Pristine resort. So you can easily go there at night by yourself.

We were two female travelers staying at the property for two nights. Currently one of the only two resorts available in a very rural Duglipur but once here you will look no further. Reaching the resort is a day long commitment by road (12 hours from Port Blair) or by ship (I was told 8-9 hours from Blair to the nearest port) so a minimum of a two night stay is recommended. Making the most place a home away from home is primarily the owner, an enterprising older gentleman who despite our late arrival due to bad weather was welcoming and served us a hot meal. The resort has maintained the natural feel with a natural sandy path to the rooms and open breakfast and lunch/dinner dining areas. The rooms are well maintained and cozy with individual balconies. An airy breakfast lounge towards the back of the property provides you with a couple of hours of WiFi access and books to greet you in the morning. Lunch / Dinner/snacks are served at the in-house restaurant which is located at the entrance of the resort with great Indian food. The beach area is largely coral filled and mangrove forest like (take suitable footwear along) with great sea life and a few live corals. The sandy strip of beach connects to the mangrove forests but is average to swim in. Across is a sandy beach which a few ppl I hear swim to, to snorkel. I skipped it being an average swimmer. There is also a turtle hatchery but this time of the year afforded is no opportunity to see this. The resort makes for a great base to see all that the north Andaman Islands have to offer. However it would be highly recommended to have organised the logistics thro a local operator ( we used Experience Andamans) - such as your own transport, required tickets to the attractions, etc as the area is isolated and is connected to the town of Diglupur only by public buses through the day. I will definitely return and hope you will give it a shot.

Pristine is no doubt the best in Diglipur, with proximity to turtle nest beach and the serene and spacious resort. Opposite to the second best Turtle Resort(Govt.), Pristine is the place for a leisurely vacation. The food and service was impeccably good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 3 nights and honestly speaking if you go I would recommend the huts as the rooms in the so to say hotel part- they are nice and everything is renovated but there is no windows so you feel like in a box. The price they ask is way too much than what the whole experience is worth so I would advise to try to negotiate as much as possible. If you are a foreigner then do not count much on breakfast as it is typical Indian.

Stay next to the beach...comfortable cottages...good food and personal touch by the owners! It's a lovely, green place to stay at. Very humble and efficient staff and serene surroundings. Very safe for lone travelers. I highly recommend this resort.
