What's Good: Location is superb. Service is great from the time you land at the airport (complimentary pickups arranged). Bar menu is on the expensive side. Food quality and portions is decent. One of the best places to stay in Diu

Best hotel in our entire 10 days tour to Gujarat. Little bit overpriced. Services are very good and prompt. Food is also good (we are pure veg), frankly have not expected the same from coastal hotel. Across the road Nagoa Beach is situtated. Have seen there maintenance of pool, kudos to hotel.

We stayed at Radhika Beach resort in Diu as it was rated high on tripadvisor. The hotel is nicely done up with swimming pool, gym and recreation centre and the premises are kept clean. It is very close to the airport and offers free transport to and from the Diu airport, which is a boon as there is no taxi booking counter in the very tiny airport of Diu. In fact we were happy that we had dropped out initial plan to go directly to Sasangir on arrival as we would indeed have been stranded outside the airport. Instead we checked into Radhika resort and planned a day trip to Sasangir at a later date. The hotel arranged for a taxi to Sasangir whose service was very good. While the hotel is mentioned as a beach resort one cannot view the beach from any of the rooms. However across the hotel on the other side of the congested road is an equally crowded beach Nagoa beach which is dirty.(Bhogla beach is much cleaner and quieter)In fact Radhika is the first hotel on the road which hosts a series of hotels .Due to its location one finds that outsiders come to the restaurant to eat making it very crowded so we ended up ordering food in the room. Room Aesthetically designed but the bathroom smelled a bit and the toilet was unclean on check in . We got them to clean the bathroom once again. A few of the bed linen and towel sets need to be got rid off as they were stained. Restaurant North Indian cuisine was good but Indo Chinese fare like fried rice and American chopsuey were terrible. Room service was prompt. Their icecreams though high priced were good. Need to improve the taste of some of the food items.Morning buffet gets repetitive if one stays for more than 3 days. Wish the restaurant managers could be more attentive as I saw a child take jam from the common jar in a spoon and then went on to put the spoon into his mouth and reuse the same spoon to dip it back into the common jar ,,entire episode went unnoticed. Second day a man used his hands to take the cut fruits but this time the waiter corrected him to use the tongs. In view of the guests being not all the same in the their social etiquette, it would be better if the management offers jam and butter etc in small individual packets.... though I understand it will be at the cost of the environment. Swimming pool Is where most guests spent a lot of time and was disappointing as rules were not enforced. I saw a boy's father tip the attendant Rs 20 so that he could swim without a swimming costume and in his regular shorts. Despite shower caps being provided in t he bathroom, guests were using the pool with their hair uncovered. Some tiles in the pool were chipped and the change rooms were really stinky so also the towels. Transport Was good . The agency the hotel used was prompt and courteous. We even managed to buy Kesar mangoes around Gir as it was the season. The taxi driver told us the area of Talala in Gir is where they grow Kesar Mangoes. Reception Quick check in and check out. They even allowed us a late check out which was appreciated. Some of the earlier reviews say staff is rude something I did not encounter its only that they are probably not very fluent in speaking all languages. What didn't work for me was each day one had to get a password and user id to avail wi fi which again the signal was poor in the rooms. For the experience I would say the pricing is high .Also it seemed that each room was taking in excess of 3 persons which resulted in the feeling that the resort was extremely crowded especially at the time of breakfast buffet and using the swimming pool.Big groups were noticed who were particularly noisy. So if one is hoping for a quiet sojourn rest assured it wont happen especially with slamming noise of doors and guests yelling across the lawns

Visited Diu on the way to Sasan Gir National Park. Stayed at Radhika for one day. Nice hotel just opposite Nagoa Beach. But price seems to be too high as compared to the similar hotel in similar places (like Goa). They have a store on premise where you have liquor available. But you can't drink it at open places (like poolside) - unlike in Goa. This seemed weird. When asked, staff said it is mentioned in the rules of swimming pool.
