we were 2 families (with kids) and we had a blast. Subodhji (partner @ Maitreya) and his family manage the day to day operations of this hotel and all of them are very hospitable and warm. Rooms and batchrooms are spick and span and the food is awesome. Rooms service was also excellent. The beach and local attractions (Rupnarayan Temple, Suvarna Ganesh Temple) are at walking distance from this place. I recommend taking up a room on the first floor and take a non-AC room. Being a remote area, load shedding is frequent.

I stay in maitreya resort along with my family members ( total 10, kids 2) in this resort.. Overall stay was good Good points - 1. Rooms were clean & hygiene 2. Walking distance to beach 3. Staff was cooperative 4. Parking available Problem area - 1. Due to some electrical fault AC was not working smooth in one room 2. Very limited option for lunch and dinner... ( but it was better than other resorts)
Strictly avoid when it's not winter

I had booked a Royal Hut to celebrate my anniversary. The cottage was excellent. It was neat and clean and had a very fresh smell but that's about it. I had paid for ac room but could hardly use it when I needed the most. The ac runs on generators and the owners there told me that running the generators 24*7 is not possible. These things should be clearly told at the time of booking. I felt cheated. In summer time it's terribly humid there and without ac it's really tough. I couldn't sleep better part of a night since the ac was off and the stabiliser would make a terribly irritating sound every minute. My purpose of relaxing was defeated. Parking is another nightmare. All the cars are stacked one behind the other and they call up owners to move the cars regardless of the time. They disturbed so many guests including me. Try not to take meals as part of the package. It's not tasty at all. I let go of two meals and went elsewhere. The staff ignores you if you make simple requests like a glass of warm water. They hear you, promise to fulfill the request but never come back. Be sure to sort out ac, parking and food issues. Might turn out to be a better experience during winter.

We had been to the resort last weekend. It was a great stay.Beach is at walking distance. Being pure veg, food was good(had not expected that). No problem of hot water.Very friendly and cooperative staff. We had not enough money in cash to pay for food bill and net banking was not working at that time, they allowed to pay later. They took extra care of our little one. Thanks a lot for making our stay wonderful.

We visited this resort few days back. located at prime location of Diveagar. It's a walkable distance to Diveagar beach & Suvarna Ganesh temple from this resort. Stay was good, room was neatly clean but very small.Limited parking space. Hot water facility is available only in the morning that too only on request. They will provide you bucket of hot water. Menu is very much overpriced. There are better options available nearby i.e Rane Khanaval & Swayam Patil Khanaval. We had Chicken Thali on first day. Both Chicken Dry and Gravy was tasteless. Pomphret Thali was for 450 where others were giving for 300-330 max. Room service staff have no patience to wait outside for a minute. If you don't respond to their knock they will continuously knock the door till the time you don't open the door. Overall it's an average place to stay for a weekend. If you are a foodie then this place is not for you.
Always ask for second or third royal hut Adobe they have patios. First one doesn't have a patio.
