I went here for my office offsite trip. It was a short stay but I tried exploring the property as much as I could :) -Exterior & Interior The Taj property has never disappointed me when it comes to interior decor or the exterior. They always have something different and exquisite to show. The property had what not, from pottery making to cute bakery, everything that you could've asked for. -Room and the View My room was on the 5th floor and the Surajkund mela was visible from my room. The other balcony had the partial pool view. The room was big and the bed was super soft but the main show stopper was the bathroom. It was gigantic! -Food I really liked the number of option they give to us! Few things that I really loved were 1. Sausages 2. Dosa with all the three chuttneys. 3. Omelette 4. Watermelon juice. It was an amazing stay at Taj. Just one thing to say Wah Taj! :D

It was a family trip in the last dec on the eve of Christmas. The hotel was well decorated with pomp and show. Rooms were good and tidy. The ambience and aroma of the hotel was well maintained. The dinner was also delicious. Gym also equipped with the latest machines. Yoga room was there and have a pleasant and peace environment. Staff was good and well co operative.

So, I got a rude awakening to the reality that every Taj property isnt the same. The hotel, the property in itself isnt anything to find faults with. Its the service that lets one down - heard of a on-site, all day restaurant running out of food? Well it happened!!! Pizza - we have run out of it, we had some western guests etc. Next up - room service or rather the inconsistent availability of it. Only once did I get things as per promised, otherwise it took them on an average 1 hour to deliver to the room. And the delivery was - an ashtray, extra plates. Not things you have to cook or prepare. Positives - if you are looking to escape from the city its apt. The rooms with balcony and courtyard view are def worth the upgrade. The breakfast was adequate, the pool is decent and their spa is good.

I have a bit to say here. Lets begin with check in. The check in experience is so so. They dont even offer you the welcone drink which they are supposed to offer unsolicited, until solicited. The check in staff wastes a lot of your time checking you in not withstanding that you might have travelled long and that you might be tired. They DO NOT provide any fruit basket or anything else in the room which has probably become the norm in every 5 star hotel at least in India and is expected from a hotel of this stature. The room: The rooms are pretty old especially the bathrooms. I thinj they belong to the old "The Claridges" and these "Taj" guys havent done much to them. The rooms are comfortable, yes, but the bathrooms can use some renovation. Food at Paranda restaurant is good. You will enjoy there. Their breakfast, is just ok. Nothing great about it and yes let me mention the rude staff they have at the breakfast restaurant. All in all, this hotel is ok if you can get a deal. Its not worth spending any high amount.
