This hotel boasts off being the best hotel in firozabad city. Happened to visit this january. Kept going around the city to locate it. Finally found it under a flyover. U will find rooms upto 4000 a night on various websites for this hotel but trust me , u will regret having spent even 400 on this. Small rooms ( i think 20 in total), almost non existent and rude room service. I would suggest u stay in some good property at Agra and can reach this city for your business chores in 40 mins by road. But always give 10 thoughts before u book this hotel. Literally nothing in this hotel.

Stayed for a night on 8th Nov 2017. Neat and clean, courteous staff. Good sized room with a balcony, fridge, TV and attached toilet. Room service is prompt. Nice restaurant. Food veg/nonveg, well made. Keeping in view the small town in Uttar Pradesh, this is the best one can expect. Front rooms are noisy as the hotel is situated right on a highway. The hotel should have a dormitory for drivers.

Monark Hotel is perhaps the only decent hotel in Firozabad and in an emergency you just have to stay here. I am told it is the best hotel in town and if you have to stay in Firozabad, you have to stay here. However, if you have an option, just avoid staying in Firozabad. The Hotel charges 3 star rates and provides the comforts of a 3-star; but there is a lot wrong with the hotel, as detailed below: 1. THE ROOMS ARE NOT VENTILATED, you might feel suffocated with all the stale air circulating in the hotel. Moreover, the rooms stink with oily perfume, perhaps sprinkled to suppress the other smells. The rooms are clean and well maintained but what strikes is that the smells refuse to leave and all bed-sheets and pillows permeate the strange smells. 2. The layout of the room I stayed in was so ill-designed that the TV was placed at an acute angle to the bed and I had to pull a chair to watch it. They ought to give a prize to the designer for exercising your neck and eyes. 3. There is no charging point for mobiles or cameras and I had to ask housekeeping for an extension wire; a wire that you can trip on as it lies on the carpet with your cameras and mobiles spread on the floor all night. 4. The Diesel Generator is so loud and noisy that its vibrations travel across the hotel. I wonder how they flaunt the environmental and local laws by putting such a noisy generator in a location surrounded by houses and shops. Shows their lack of sensitivity to neighbours. 5. The lights in the room are too dim for comfort, specially if you want to stay awake in the day. Everything about the ambience just assumes that you are there to sleep. 6. The Tea Kettle was absent and was supplied after two reminders, and then it did not have a electrical point for it, so the extension cord given to me for mobiles was used for the kettle. (They just forgot to add electrical points in the room) The restaurant and the room service are so overpriced that the prices match those of five star hotel. The person at the reception tells you that they have no sabzi or dal at less than Rs. 300 a plate. A milk of glass costs your Rs. 80 plus tax, a price which you would'nt like to pay in this shabby hotel. The service in the adjoining restaurant is pathetic, the staff walks around like zombies not even trying to find out if you need that extra chapati. The person at the reception is helpful but has no training on sophistication. It is all a bit crude. I had planned two nights but I checked out after a day since I could not bear the stale air for more than a day. All in all, stay in this hotel only if you dont find anything else. And if you check in you will have to check-out within a day as I had to.

Went to the hotel just for dining, so just reviewing about the food quality and service. The food service was bad and slow. But the food quality and delicacies were awesome. Always love the food of this place.
