Reason For Rating : Pros of choosing the hotel - Nice view of the valley - Spacious room, balcony, good bed & nice toilet. - Mr Suman, from front office. Really nice guy, very helpful. Cons of choosing the hotel - Its almost 7-8 km away from the gangtok town and finding a shared cab to the hotel is very hard. If you take a cab for yourself, it will cost anywhere between 100 to 200. There is no any necessary amenities such as medical shops, salons, restaurents, ATM etc near the hotel. So in case if you want to avail any such amenities you will have to take a cab to the town center which will cost you around 200-250 INR every time to and fro. - Except Mr. Suman (Front office) and Abhishek (Restaurent) generally the staff is rude, especially if you have made the booking and the payment by online before your stay. - For the complimentry breakfast, they have a vast variety of food in their menu. However when you call the room service to order, they will be having only puri & sabzi, some kind of sandwich of god knows what and bread omlette (sometimes). -Every time when you order food to the room service (you have no other option since there is no other restaurents nearby) they generally takes 1.5 hours to deliver. Above that, every time they miss to deliver at the least 1-2 items which you have ordered. -During our stay here for 5 nights, our room was cleaned only one time that too upon our request. - On our very first night I have found that the blanket provided to us was used (found some hair and stains) and asked immediately to replace. However the new blanket stank as well and since we were very tired after a hectic day and it was raining and chilling, and we didnt want to wait another half an hour to get the blankets replaced, we adjusted for the day by hoping it will be replaced the next day. Needless to say, we had to use the same blanket till the end of our stay. -Hotel charges almost double for the local sight seeing. Always opt for the cabs outside. Sightseeing can charges are listed in the sikkim govt tourism site. Please refer the same prior to booking. Cab drivers in sikkim are very friendly. They will suggest you the places to visit, helps to plan to itinerary and all in a reasonable price.

We will never forget our trip to Sikkim, owing a huge deal to this hotel, the owner, her friend, and the staff. And I can assure you, you will not regret staying over there. The hotel itself is a visual treat, the pictures don't do much justice to the beauty of this place. So when you're there don't sit around, look around. Also while you are looking around do check out the beautiful garden. And to my fellow animal lovers, go say hello the dogs, and the friendly cat. If you want to take my strange suggestion, if you decide to stay here do not, and I mean it, do not plan your trip in advance. Instead ask, at the reception for them to help you out. And they'll take you out on an adventure, covering all the go to stops. And once you're back enjoy some local food at the hotel, and if you don't mind alcohol do try their local beer. I don't know if you'd like it, but dear readers, I loved it. Another strange suggestion, and I do hope you take it, sit out side for dinner and inside for breakfast/lunch. I don't really have a reason for this suggestion, but it just the way I experienced the place. And it left a great impression in my mind. I hope you do try this out. And if you get the chance to, do go talk to the owner, she is an absolute sweetheart. And so are the entire staff of the place. They will help you out, so don't be shy. I could go on about the amenities, it is a good hotel so I guess it is only given that there would be very few short comings. These short comings are not even worth being talked about. I am sure I have skipped over many great details. If you get the time to, if ever the opportunity comes knocking at your door, go visit Sikkim and stay here, you'll enjoy it. For me Sikkim was a magical place, where I spent the most amazing week. I can not wait to go back.

property is new, well maintained. Rooms are quite good spacious and clean. There is no unpleasant smell like most of the hotel rooms in hill station smells. Bathroom is stain free quite spacious. Balcony is having a seating of two with a coffee table to relax and feel the beauty of nature.

A wonderful experience where you are treated like family. Lovely room, good wifi and excellent service. The staff are attentive, and people drop by from all over to create a lively and friendly atmosphere. Gorgeous views where I woke up to the Himalayan clouds at eye level. Great for solo travellers too as everyone is very helpful with tips and arrangements for anything you might like to do. I couldn't have asked for more, and I definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Very neat and clean place with great view. Around 3-4km outside the city, on the road. Does not have much frills attached, but maintained quite well. Owner and staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. There are no fans or AC in the room, but Gangtok climate does not make them a necessity. The food is one thing they could improve upon, the choices are very limited and taste it not great. We had to make do with bread omelette on both the days we stayed there. I would definitely recommend this place to fellow travelers who are looking for a budget hotel with clean bathrooms especially!

Exceptionally good interiors & landscape build by owner of the property. As we got Delhi connection with the owner of the property, so we got more attached to the property. Professionally driven staff.
