I stayed in this hotel as part of a G Adventures tour and it was a decent place to stay. Heres what I thought... Location. This hotel is in a quieter location and is far enough away from the busy roads to be peaceful. The beach is easily accessible by lane - about a 7-10 minute walk. It is about 1.5 hours from the Goa airport due to bridge construction and traffic. Atmosphere. This is more a friendly place than a fancy one. The vibes are relaxed and most of the hotel guests are either Russian or Indian tourists. Its not fussy, but still comfortable. Room. My room was spacious and I had plenty of room to relax. The washroom was huge, with a big shower and ventilation to outdoors. General state of the top was worn/shabby so I wouldnt say that it was cheery. Wifi was available throughout the grounds but had a weak signal up in my room and was a bit frustrating to use. The balcony overlooked the parking lot and was too dusty and hit for me to want to use. The fan and AC worked great. Staff. The staff here were great and helped me out with any issues / requests that I had. They were easily able to manage a busy front desk and I appreciated their time. Once they could see that I was waiting for a long time to use the poolside washroom and they wished me away to a secret bathroom nearby, which I thought was very caring. Food. I liked the breakfast buffet here and thought there was a lot of choice. Staff are on hand to help you get anything you want and I think I saw that the coffee bar is open past midnight. I hope this review has been helpful to you! Enjoy your time in India!

The hotel is well positioned. Good pool and breakfast. Could do with a good clean. FAR FAR TOO NOISEY. WE WERE NEAR A SECURITY office and in the mornings the staff were shouting to each other. It was impossible to get a good sleep. I hope manager listens to this report and asks everyone to be quiet in the mornings

Stayed here as part of a group tour (i.e. not by choice). The whole hotel could do with both a deep clean and a fresh coat of paint. The walls, both inside and outside, were covered in dirty marks. Rooms are basic - the mattresses are hard and uncomfortable, and the fridge had gunk in it. Overall it felt really unclean. There are also a whole litany of hotel rules, including a ban on keeping outside drinks in the room fridge (weird and unreasonable). The wifi is also not free - admittedly it costs 100 rupees, which is not a huge amount, but every other hotel I stayed at in India offered it for free. In summary, there are much nicer and still affordable hotels in Goa, including just up the road from this one - go to one of those instead. I've given it two stars rather than one as the breakfast was fairly decent (and cheap).

Alor resort is an average hotel. We booked 3 rooms for 4 days and 3 nights for total cost 16500+ worthless. Rooms were ok. Blankets giving bad odour. Hospitality was ok. Pool was good. Complimentary breakfast was good. Reasonable budget hotel.
