My stay was just amazing. The staff at the front desk as well as the restaurant were very help and kind. The rooms were clean and comforting. I stay in the Pool Villa and that was just off the charts. In meals the breakfast was nice. The grilled chicken in the evening, cannot even explain how good it was. Would surely recommend the property.

My rating relates to 'communications' at the Aura resort. (1) There are no 'landline' facilities from either the rooms or reception from which to make international calls and wi-fi is only available at reception or perhaps nearby. (2) I suspect, probably not realised by staff at reception, that their terminal is set to only allow credit card payment with a pin number, ie not via swipe/sign, since my card was not accepted at the hotel using the swipe function but on every terminal I used on my journey from India and within the UK.

I stayed in Aura Spa Retreat Goa for two weeks as a participant to a group practising yoga, ayurveda and meditation. The staff went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs in the most efficient and polite way possible. The place is of remarkable beauty and serenity and is very close to the beautiful Mandrem Beach (15 min easy walk). I would especially like to extend many thanks and sincere congratulations to the kitchen for amazing Indian food prepared with great care and according to our requests (i.e. not too spicy!). I would gladly visit again any time!

I'll start by saying we stayed here 1 night and it was perfectly pleasant, if overpriced. The staff try hard and are friendly. However the management are simply rude arrogant and inefficient. Please don't ever give this hotel your money unless you are 100% sure you wish to stay there - we paid a deposit up front for a group booking for a retreat which we sadly had to cancel - it took 3 months of daily calls and emails and being constantly lied to by the management to be refunded our deposit. Sadly this culture of mismanagement and lies filters down to the management at the resort itself and should you wish assistance from them it is unlikely to be forthcoming. I wish I had a positive experience to share but sadly you could not pay me to go near this place again my experience with them was so frustrating
