This place has a lot of potential, The beach is a short walk through a very poorly maintained track but it is the cleanest beach I have seen in India, and also has a lifeguard. The rooms are very nice but basic, the beds are very comfortable. The staff are great. The internet was useless and the bar and restaurant was being rebuilt so not open when I was there.

Well, to start with, I've stayed in this hotel twice. My first time in 2011 and that time I loved the service and quality, the way rooms were maintained. Then again I stayed in 2016 and realised Management has changed and nevertheless staff was helpful but I could see the quality of rooms degraded a bit, nothing major but comparative to 2011, I could feel the difference. During my stay in 2016, last night of ours, there was a group of men from some organisation staying with bulk booking. Same night, someone kept knocking on our door aggressively again and again and when we checked, that person ran off. We complained to the reception but they could not locate anyone. This continued from 11 in the night till 12 30 or so. Next morning when manager came, I complained about the same and he was apologetic and I gave written feedback as well. On this he offered a free night during my next visit. This year when I was visiting Goa again, I dropped them an email with reference to the incident above and they failed to acknowledge the incident and gave me the tariff rates. I wrote back regarding the free night I was offered, no reply from the management. Despite following up thrice, they did not even write back to me. I wrote my last email that this is really bad customer service and I am disappointed, yet no response. Well, the hotel which used to be a gem of property has turned into just another property with bad management unfortunately. Sad but true.

Coconut Grove is the best resort I found in the South Goa. Very Neat and Clean rooms and pool. Very well managed property. All staffs are very polite, soft spoken, helpful and professional. I would say this is the best resort for Family vacation. Swimming pool is also very well managed. I would especially like to mention the name of Mr. Raghu Ji (Front Office Manager), he is gem of a person. Very cooperative. We did not face any problem during our stay of 3 nights and 4 days. All and All It was really very comfortable stay and I will certainly book the same resort on my next trip.

Staff very helpful - couldn't do enough. Description of hotel on their website NOT true to real life! Restaurants/food: only one restaurant - next to pool, no breakfast served on terrace as pictures/description. The pool restaurant is dark/no aircon/the curtains never pulled back! They are not used to serving lunch. Dinner: Limited set menue (food good). Upper terrace is used as storage, no chairs or tables - this is promoted as a relaxing area to enjoy a drink under the stars!! Real shame as it could be lovely! Pool itself is clean. Only 3 sunbeds around pool - all broken with stained/dirty sun mattresses. In it's day this would have been a beautiful boutique hotel - now left to deteriorate. It is used mainly by Russians who use it as a base, and then eat out. If this is all you want from the hotel then that's OK. However, the price quoted on Tripadvisor for this hotel is SO over inflated I felt I had to write a review to warn people. We stayed here February 2019 - so this report is recent. For 160-170 per night there are far better hotels with better facilities, cleaner, and holiday atmosphere! I have to thank Aslina and staff for doing all they could to try and improve things, but they are limited. We did actually cut short our stay and moved on to another hotel. Especially as one of our family was staying in a "cottage" with a collapsed roof!! We have been coming to Goa every year for 19 years and this was not a good experience. Hope this may have helped you question whether this is for you or not?

Coconut Grove is one of the best hotel in South Goa. I visited this hotel twice. Its located on great place, on the Betalbetim Beach, its peaceful place. Hotel have bigger size rooms with huge swimming pool & garden. All the hotel staff are helpful but Mr Raju is one of best one. He know the places nearby, helped for the transport as well. Thank you sir. It was one of my best hotel experience.
