It was an awesome holiday at grand hyatt goa. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. It has a huge swimming pool which is divided into 4-5 parts. Overall the hotel is beautiful and caters a lot of activities for kids and adults.

We have been here together with my sister and a friend and have been staying for 3 weeks. It is the best hotel we have stayed in on The Indian Ocean/Arabic Sea seaside. The rooms are clean with wooden floors, the cleaning services come daily and change sheets or towels if requested. The breakfast was great and so is the buffet. I recommend you to try the restaurants in Panjim as well - best food in India at The Black Sheep ( continental food with Indian flavour, best dinners I had in my life) and I travel a lot, Viva Panjim and others which we found on the app Zomato. A taxi to the city is approx 4-500 Inr one way but totally worth it. I would definitely go back to Grand Hyatt when I return to Goa. Special thanks to the Duty Manager on the evening of Oct 14th who managed to accomodate my sister in a "change room" for a couple of hours. Great value for the money.

Although we were not welcomed , as we were supposed to be. But after checking in my bay view king suite , everything was perfect as it should be. Food at Chulha was delightful. Buffet served was ok , not the best.
Very good resort let down by the bar.

Our holiday stay at the Grand Hyatt was all about rest and relaxation. Facilities and staff were generally very good. We loved the restaurants (really!!) and pool side dining which I'll cover in separate reviews. The layout of the resort is beautiful and the gardens are spectacular, alongside the beach. The location and setting are first class. Gym facilities are very good with a large area and new equipment. It is also well maintained and trainers are there if needed. The room was great. Some towels rails are needed in the bathroom for the bath sheet sized towels. Face washers were not provided. Service of the room was very good. Check in was slow. We had been travelling all day and arrived hot and tired mid-afternoon. When you are told to "take a seat and my colleague will join you for check in", it sends the message to me that the hotel is not ready to check us in. A drink was provided in the meantime which we appreciated. If you are going to do the personal check in and escort people to the room, the staff member needs to be ready to do this. If they are not, check the guests in and point them in the direction of the room. THE BAR The Bar was very disappointing. We met our friends there each night before dinner. Staff were well presented and friendly but the amount of alcohol (e.g. vodka or whisky) in drinks was not up to standard. Terms used on the drink list were "small" or "large". Normally I'm used to "single" or "double". Having had three "large" vodkas before dinner, I was not feeling affected by the alcohol quantity before dinner. The rest of our group felt the same in ordering spirits before dinner on empty stomachs. I don't make this accusation lightly but know that the "large" was definitely not a "double". The next week we ordered similar drinks at the Four Seasons in Hong Kong and the experience was totally different. Service at the bar was also very slow. After a couple of visits we knew that you had to order the next drink as soon as the first drink arrived because otherwise there was a 15-25 minute wait for drinks to come....not good! This is despite the fact that the bar only had a small number of customers. One good point was the friendly local cat who came and kept the four of us company while we were at the bar. Hotel Management, please take note as the bar needs your attention.

We had excellent time at Grand Hyatt Goa. The overall level of service was great. Since we had some allergies, the Dining Room Restaurant staff made special meals for us and served with a smile. They were always eager to cater for our needs. Executive Sous Chef Rupesh Orforcar, Chef De Cuisine Biju Philiph and Sous Chef Isahaque Mondal have really made tremendous effort to cater for our allergies. We cannot thank them and their teams enough for ensuring our dietary requirements are met with excellent food served with a smile. This has been one of best holidays. We will be going there again in the future and would highly recommend to you all.
Wonderful stay - lovely property and exceptional staff

Last weekend we visited Goa with our little baby. We were delighted to find that at every stage the staff at the Grand Hyatt went out of the way to ensure our stay was very comfortable - especially with a little baby. I would strongly recommend the property to anyone with little children looking for a break. The property: The hotel is right by the water - Bambolim beach is quite unexciting - it worked fine for us since our aim was just to walk by the sea in the evening but for anyone looking for a nice beach this is not the ideal location. The property is also small - much smaller than the Park Hyatt - for us this was ideal since we didn't want to have to walk long distances. But size aside it is very well maintained and feels both colonial and brand new which is a surprising combination. The pool is quite nice albeit very crowded at times. And while there are several restaurants - many were closed on our last night there. The room was very nice and they had free wifi which is one of the things I look for in hotels these days. The food: Room service was pretty good - especially the Asian food. We had one meal at Chula the Indian restaurant that was excellent but very heavy. The Dining Room also has decently priced (given this is a 5-star ish place) buffets for lunch and dinner. The only thing we were not happy with was that on Saturday night the Rs. 1,100 dinner buffet was replaced by a Rs. 2,500 seafood buffet and on Sunday the Rs. 1,000 lunch buffet was replaced by a Rs. 1,800 brunch buffet. The staff: This is where the Grand Hyatt wins - and this is why we will try our best to return soon. Probably the best customer service apart from the Trident Hyderabad which is impossible to beat! At check-in we asked if we could compare the 2 rooms being offered to us. Elber at the front desk agreed happily and let us choose the nicer (pool facing room). Later on when we really needed a late check out, despite it being a busy evening Elber helped us out. At the dining room, Mahesh was very helpful finding us a table, getting us the various things we wanted and even asking the chef to come talk to us. Chef Mahesh in the Verandah was exceptional. We asked if he could make some mashed potatoes for our baby. What he brought was delicious (according to both baby and parents!) - and then said he would be happy to make it every day. We took him up on the offer and even asked him to pack some for the flight back. I asked if we could pay but was told it was not necessary. In fact in several situations we would ask for small extras - and all of this was provided happily, without charge. On the whole we left feeling really happy - it's a rare hotel that gives you this feeling. Summary: Small property - but if you're looking to just hang around in the resort and don't want too much walking this is perfect. Highly recommended for parents with little children who are just looking for a break from their usual lives.
Pool facing was very nice albeit a little noisy in the day.
