Best stay ever

The Hotel-resort is very Beautiful , rooms very specious , cosy . Excellent food. The best part is the service. Everybody has always a smile , friendly greeting and are making sure that you have everything you need. The welcome on arrival was so nice , we felt very special and check out topped everything. We almost missed our plane because we mixed up the departure time , The ladies on the check out desk did wonders ,arranged for somebody to help us at the airport. We made it ! Thank you all for making our stay so wonderful .For sure we are coming back!

They provide us wrong room the time of check in. We have booked a Bay View Room, but they provide us non bay view room. We tell them about this, after that they change our room at 6 pm. No one informed us about the room status during that time. So four hours were wasted by them in the whole process. Access card of the room stopped working after some time. Food was average. People were waiting outside the dining hall at the time of breakfast because there was no space available inside the dining room. Remote Location, No self drive rental vehicles are available near Hotel. Rates of Taxi stand are much higher side. Water of beach at hotel was not clean. Property ambience is good, but overall experience was not good.

Had called the hotel desk in advance I had asked for a pick up at the airport along with our flight details. But when we reached airport they didn't have our names on there arrival list. So they called u the hotel desk to check and then have a car to take us to the hotel. This was just the beginning of their lousy service. I had called up Grand Hyatt 3 days before arrival to check on my room specifications. I had specifically asked for a room with twin beds. They said its all set. But when we checked in we were given a room with just a king size bed. And to change our room they took almost an hour. Once we got to our room, we settled but we had no room key to get out. So I had to wait for another 15 mins for someone to give us the room key so that we could get out. We decided to go for a swim. After swimming for a while I ordered for some French fries and beer, which never arrived. After a scrumptious dinner at Chulha, we went to the room and wanted to have fruits. So we asked the housekeeping for a fruit knife and some few forks. They arrived after 50 mins of waiting. The next day we were at Dinning Hall for breakfast, but we are made to wait for almost 45 mins to get in. While they made us wait for breakfast we were asked to wait at Bay view lounge, where some fruits and few pastries were kept. There were plates but no sliver ware to eat with. Our Room had blind folds which divided the main room from wet area. And I couldn't close it. When asked for assistance he did it manually because he said there were no switch to open and close the blinds which i thought for ridiculous. Over all service is poor. During breakfast there was complete chaos. They didn't serve me what I had asked for. (Simple omelet.) I wouldn't recommend to stay because its not at all worth it after spending almost 250$ per night.

Food is bad. Hospitality is a turnoff too. I stayed at both Novotel and Hyatt, but i definetely recommend Novotel for the fod and hospitality. Ambience and cleaniliness are great and i recommend for these two. Food at Varandah restaurant is a go for. Chulha and the dining room leaves you disappointed.
Ask for a beach view.

all the rooms are quiter with beautiful scenic view of either beach, garden or a pool. casino is an attractive one. staff is courteous.
