  • Most relaxing holiday

    by pinky k on August 12, 2017

Had an excellent time at this property celebrating my 50th .... the most amazing indian food .... the black dal was to die for and so was the tomato soup.... yummmmmmmm food. My husband asked them to organise a special candle light dinner and the chef went all out to prepare us some finger licking food.... the staff was very warm and hospitable .... they had decorated the area with balloons and candles and made it very special with a delicious cake and a personalised birthday card.... they were extremely warm and hospitable.... loved every moment of the holiday .... the property is beautiful and their grand executive king suite is amazingly spacious and very comfortable with a huge balcony... this is one holiday I'm surely going to cherish .

  • First stay at the Grand Hyatt. Goa.

    by Manoj L on August 9, 2017

it was our first trip to the Grand Hyatt out of the many trips to GOA, we were celebrating my in-law's Wedding Anniversary and also our early wedding Anniversary. So, thought of new 5-star hotel to make our trip grand. We had a good flight and were picked from the airport in the Audi A3. The hotel check-in process took not more than 15 mins and as we had done our booking in advance. the staff was courteous and quick to offer us a welcome drink. (non-alcoholic of course) we were then taken in a golf cart to our rooms and the luggage followed us in other carts. The rooms are good but a bit smaller than what we had experienced in other 5 stars like Marriott or TAJ. Our room had a Garden and pool view and had a decent balcony where we would sit to have our morning tea the next day. The pool is huge and as it was an offseason and a week day, the pool was all for us. The baby/child pool is where my kids enjoyed. They also have an indoor pool and a steam sauna bath & Jacuzzi free for you to enjoy. There is an elaborate gym if you are one of those fitness dudes. The food was well spread, and they had a huge range of cheese spread for breakfast which we were surprised to see. The regular free salads and juices are part of the buffet breakfast. The food quality was good but it could be better. We went to a different restaurant where we were pleasantly was surprised to see a sugarcane juice machine which would give you fresh sugarcane juice. The staff was very helpful and would serve you if they see you have a child and your hands are full. the place as a huge garden nice to walk in the early morning's bare feet on the grass which I did. The beach is very private and is almost isolated just for the hotel guest. You need to be on the beach to witness at least one sunset. Overall a very good and amazing experience for our family, The Staff helpful and got us a cake the decked up the room for the wedding Anniversary. The sheer size of the hotel and architecture is something to be experienced. It has its places where you can find some quiet time to relax and at the same time have fun with family.

  • Paradise by the ocean

by kenmlove on August 9, 2017

My husband and I stayed here for 7 glorious days whilst touring india. From start to finish everything was just truly amazing. We paid and additional 5500 rupees per night to upgrade to a club view room which gave us access to the grand club. This was a great decision as it got us transfers to and from the hotel along with an incredible room facing the old Chapel and the ocean. We also got to have a very calm breakfast buffet everything morning along with afternoon high tea. From 6pm to 8pm there is a lovely buffet laid on along with unlimited soft and alcoholic drinks. These were all top international brands and included soft lovely Italian wines. The team in the club lounge are just amazing and we really enjoyed our visits with them. Allison and Georgio were incredibly welcoming along with a lovely young chef who would bring us local goan food from the kitchen. The hotel itself is luxurious and the most beautiful hotel we have visited. It's vast and has the air of a rotal palace to it. The pool is just beautiful and has 3 separate zones so you can always find a quiet area to relax in. The restaurants are all superb and I highly recommend the wicked Sunday brunch, by far the best buffet I have ever had and the Indian Chandon was free flowing. Everyone we dealt with was just so so lovely and thoughtful. We even got a farewell gift of some shot glasses from the resort team. Ignore the negative reviews as these seem to be coming from very demanding people who treat the staff more like servants than people. We are internationally well travelled and I would rate this as the finest hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank you so so much to everyone for making our visit so magical. Mr Love and Mr Hobbs X
