The hotel isn't the best place for people who want luxury and comfort. You need to be ready to rough it out, but be prepared to have an amazing experience, if you are willing to do so..A small joint with an awesome view along with the basic amenities covered. The staff covers the feeling of being in Goa by being helpful and friendly while guiding you to non-touristy places that can be a treat to the eye

Went for new years, abt 2 years back. Managed to get bookings at the last minute - though a bare bones room, was dirt cheap. no food, no room service, etc. The owner rents you his bike at rs 250 (the going rate outside is rs 1000), can help u get tickets for sunburn at a lower cost and also free entry to the famous hill top new years trance party which takes place at the hotel. the mango tree restaurant, run by the hotel mgmt, is close by and offers good food. All in all, worth it, for a last minute affair!! dont expect any luxury though - strictly for the budget traveller!!
