  • Best property at Baga Beach

    If I write only few words about this property, this will not be justice with it, so I apologise to Hotel management for bit short review. For travellers who are looking good property at Baga Beach, just a suggestion don't search much simply book this property if you get reservation. I visited here alongwith my family and enjoy everything whatever we can expect from a good hotel. This is a beach facing hotel so you don't need to worry about transportation to reach beach and also about about staying till late night at beach. They have 3 restaurants and casino as well. I m really impressed with the hospitality and cooperative behaviour of hotel management and their whole staff. They also have their own Shack with the name of La Shack at their beach facing gate. Their chef's are also making very tasty food. Their Travel manager Mr. Vinay is also very nice person. Special thanks to whole staff of hotel.

    A bunch of us (all girls) stayed in La Calypso last December and so glad we chose this hotel. Our room was facing the street, so was a bit noisy. The size of the rooms is bigger as compared to hotels of same category. What I liked the most and would love to mention here is the staff. Extremely courteous (maybe too much;-)) and super helpful. As girls we we felt extremely safe. Breakfast room is fairly small and menu is limited to Indian cuisine.

    I stayed here 4 weeks back. I had booked a suite room via internet. Suite room was a huge disappointment. Small room with substandard furniture. I saw big rats outside the room, fortunately there were none in the room. Food quality was ok. Taps in the female bathroom accompanying the dinner area were not working for 3 days. Most disappointing part was the unprofessional behavior by hotel staff. Hotel spa was not working and it was not informed to us at the time of booking. Though the hotel has a nice swimming pool, Changing area was under renovation. there were workers doing all sort of civil work outside the female shower area and shower area door did not even had a latch. guests were made to change and take shower in midst of ongoing civil work with hotel management completely ignoring the guest's comfort and safety. I think their only motto is to get a customer once to their hotel to mint money as very few if any would return to such pathetic place

    We had done a group booking for 4 families. The rooms promised were suite. The suite is worse like a dormitory with seepage from ceiling, broken bathroom fittings, half of lights not working. The staff is the most impolite and rude we have ever seen in Goa. The only advantage is the location but honestly anyone should avoid staying here.

    This is not my first time to goa but this time I stayed in Hotel La calypso, which is located on baga beach, the best beach of Goa. Ambience, food, hospitality everything awesome. We enjoyed a lot in the casino of this hotel and specially liked the personal shacks they made for the guests staying in the hotel. Must visit.

  • Is there a cancellation policy for Hotels booked on Yatra?

If you are cancelling after the check-in date, there will be no refund.
