the wooden cabins are out of the world. the staff is pleasant, security is great and the local food at restaurant is delicious. the facelift has made the place even more attractive now.apt for a stay with family and friends. jump in to the beach or enjoy the sunset on a couch...too many options , local fishermen goff loading their catch is a sight to see.

I stayed here for 2 days with my family, The property is located bang on the Arambol Beach which itself is beautiful, the Property is maintained well with walkway parking and big spacious rooms. The Pool was under maintenance when we visited so a bit disappointing considering we planned to spend some time there with kids...The service is not very Good, i had requested the rooms to be cleaned and towels and toliteries replaced given the fact we spent a day there but when we returned from a short trip the rooms were unattended... Haf to call the reception a couple of time for baisc room necessity...barring a few service issue the property is good and if u get a good price it's wroth time spent..the Arambol market is right out of there...One Imp drawback the path to hotel from main road is very very narrow so take a note and there is barely internet connection inside the hotel for jio or idea.. atleast I faced issue...Happy Traveling

Had great expectations reading the reviews here, but our experience was not upto the mark. Resort is right on the beach. Cottages are little old, but maintained ok. Room service is not at all good. Looks like they were having shortage of manpower. We need to ask many times to get the room cleaned. It was done only after lunch time. We tried to watch EPL match in the TV, but they mentioned that the TV recharge is in name of a person, who have gone to his village. What a lame excuse. So we there was no TV. We had a kid less than 1 year with us, she was uncomfortable in the less light of the cottage. We requested the reception many times to put a high power bulb in one room, which they were unable to do for 4 nights of our stay. We were even ready to upgrade our room with extra payment, where there is more light but the guy in reception was rude enough and didn't agreed to accommodate that. Although they told all other rooms in the resort is full, but we noticed there were many rooms empty in the front. We can understand that it was off season and there was not enough resources, but if they are taking the reservation, they are supposed to give proper services. Restaurant was good. Food was tasty and very prompt service. Hence my final verdict - If you are looking for a beach cottage stay, definitely go for Agonda or Palolem and avoid this place. This is from my personal experience of staying in both the places.

The family room with a pull out bed was perfect the room itself and the washroom was clean with the coffee maker and a small balcony for a cuppa in the morning. The check in was smmoth since it was off season the rates was reasonable. The cottages are also available and a new swimming pool was being constructed. The places to sit within the hotel premises with the calm buddha statues in meditation pose dotted with minitature lotus ponds and well maintained lawn was beautiful .It has direct access to the beach with many eateries. The only thing which wasn't good was the in house restaurant which was almost non functioning right from providing us with the menu card to a cup of tea, this needs improvement!

Lotus Sutra is the most fitting place to stay at in Arambol, location-wise as well as comfort-wise. It is located right next to the beach, a minutes walk from the main road, away from the public entrances to the beach but equidistant from all the best snacks to eat and relax in. As you enter the place, you can immediately see the attention to detail paid in maintaining the property, the landscaping is eye-catching, the garden is well pruned, the lawn is mowed and trimmed and everything is lush green and soothing to the eye. The wooden cottages, though a little old and run-down, are quaint and comfortable to stay in. The porch outside each cottage with table and chairs add a nice touch to sit and relax in any time of the day or night. The premium rooms are larger and more luxurious, with large swanky bathrooms, wood-like flooring, carpets, big mirrors, massive soft beds, and plenty of storage space. The powerful AC and mini-bar are perfect for the hot Goan weather to cool down or store some chilled drinks in your room. The private balcony that looks out into the resort/sea adds a nice touch to the room, but could have been made a little bigger to accommodate more than two people. We have stayed here twice in the past 6 months and would definitively come back again, once you find this place you wouldnt want to stay anywhere else again.
