What's Good: Clean cozy rooms. Good service. Good food.
What needs to improve : Dusty sit-out area - to be fair to them, this was because of the swimming pool being under major maintenance. Breakfast is unimaginative with no varieties. This was a surprise coz they run one of the best restaurants in Goa.
Reason For Rating : Yatra was the only website that promised the final price of my hotel booking and stuck to the same figure until I completed the booking process. Other websites would show a figure to lure you in and once you go about booking, the figure would have shot up nearly 2 times as big. Am always going to come to Yatra for all my future hotel bookings.

What's Good: It was like a comfortable home stay with hygienic cleanliness in rooms and peaceful surrounding well maintained building structure with clear crystal swimming pool and stomach full banquet of breakfast and received co-operation from hotel staff. wonderful stay just waiting for the holidays again. thank you all.
What needs to improve : Not much, but they should include breakfast with one meal at least in that price which should Goan reciepe as we are staying in Goa. And should have accomadation for family of four members without any extra cost. if possible transport to be provided to and fro with less cost.

Very accommodating staff who made sure I had a ground floor room because of my mobility disability. Large room, air conditioned, showing some signs of wear but more than adequate - and reasonably priced. I had room service breakfast but there was a daily buffet poolside. Martin's Corner restaurant, across the street was one of the reasons I picked this hotel & I ate every meal there. I didn't avail myself of the nearby beach which I was told was only a short walk away.

Another visit to Martins Comfort... and left with happy memories. The staff are helpful and listen to what you have to say. If it is in their power to accommodate you then they will. Breakfast is limited, but enough to fill you up... a choice of Indian and/or continental, 3 types of fruits, tea, coffee, juice, cupcakes, bread... what more do you need. The swimming pool has been recently renovated and looks very inviting. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to use it this time. Martins Corner food that you can order as room service is ok. Not as great as it used to be. But their prawn curry and boiled rice are still very tasty, although the quantity was half of the bowl.... not a good thing for Rs 200/-. But the taste was awesome. Will be back... hopefully soon.

As almost all must be knowing that the hotel is adjacent to the the famous Martin's Corner restaurant. Plus it is just a kilometer from Sunset Beach... So location wise it's a great place. Rooms are also pretty well maintained. But breakfast option too less and if you go a bit late they tell you that a particular dish is finished. Wi fi does not work. I agree that nowadays everyone is having unlimited Internet on his mobile but still you need wifi at many occasions. The most pathetic was their arrangement of a two wheeler. There was only one guy who supplied two wheelers to guests and he was an arrogant man. This hotel seems to encourage monopoly of two wheeler suppliers and taxi drivers. You can not take vehicle from outside and if you take from them you need to shell out more than the market rate and deal with arrogant dealers. The staff were polite but lacked the warmth of Goa...

This is a small hotel where we have stayed before. While waiting in the queue at Martins corner we decided to check the availability during X-mas of 2017 & learned that the rates were almost double as compared to off-peak season & it was fully booked so no chance for walk-in guests. This place is located in south Goa & takes about half an hour drive from the airport. Nearest major railway station is Margao from where many outbound trains originate the journey. Sunset beach is at a walking distance from Betalbatim village. There is a small chapel just outside the hotel & the famous Martins corner is adjoining through a small gate which opens in the common carpark. Breakfast starts a bit late in the morning & is located near the carpark gate next to the swimming pool. Dotted throughout the place are earthen statues & artifacts. The landscaping is compact with plenty of greenery. Rooms have a balcony & swimming pool tiles give water a deep blue shade. Few umbrella & sun beds placed near the pool. Reception area is equipped with some reading material & useful tourist information. Traffic outside is thin with occasional public transport mini bus passing by.

Martin's comfort is a good place to stay on a budget. The hotel rooms are decent and have all basic amenities like a clean bathroom with 24/7 running hot water, air conditioning, fridge, kettle (with DIY coffee and tea provisions), and a nice comfy bed. A nice touch is that they give you 2 complimentary bottles of water as a part of their daily room service. They also provide complimentary breakfast for their guests, but it gets somewhat boring after a couple of days due to the repeating options. The main items were Upma, Idli Sambar, Chicken Sausages, and Omelets (accompanied by fruits, toast, muffins and cereals on the side). I would suggest mix things up a little by offering different stuff on different days, I really dont think the options are limited but that they are repetitive. The two main reasons why you should stay here is (a.) It is close to sunset beach which is nice, clean and less crowded than other beaches nearby and (b.) It is right next to their legendary restaurant named Martin's corner. The best part is that this hotel's room service is catered by Martin's corner, so you don't need to even cross the street to get some great food if that's what you prefer. The pool is decent and is kid friendly on one side and deep enough for adults on the other side. After my first day at the resort, I received a call from the front desk asking me about my experience and I really liked that approach of getting feedback (first impressions!). As I was allotted the room right next to their kitchen (which I guess just prepares breakfast), I was able to overhear conversations of the staff which kind of was irritating 6 in the morning. On giving this feedback, I did notice a significant drop in the noise levels which I really appreciated. Overall, I would rate this place 4 out 5 considering the value for money and its location. There arent may restaurants nearby, so you need plan as you might have to drive to Madgaon which is the nearest city.
