I was here for 2 nights, rooms were ok no service in room. I ask for room cleaning in the morning they sent housekeeping in evening when I was back. Breakfast was very sad worst Poha i have ever eaten(how can someone go with Poha). Oye had too much branding but no customers service and care. I suggest to avoid this one if you have better choices.

Well, to start off, the location of the hotel is perfect. Pretty close to all main areas on Panjim and its an economical place for a quick stay over. Thats about it... The room was tiny, I was ok with it. However, if you stand in the shower for more than 5min the water flows into the room, so keep your bath time short. The bed was comfortable and the pillow cover looked clean, but the pillow itself was brown and probably 100 years old. The staffs were courteous and polite. What anyone expects from staff of a hotel in a tourist town is...information. At around 8 PM (raining heavily), I asked the reception staffs tips for some place for drink n food. They directed me to a shady n boring Chinese restaurant a short walk away. Unhappy, I decided to do some research myself. In less than half hour I found a handful of eateries, couple of pubs, a lovely nite club all walk able distance from the hotel. So, my suggestion is... If you have some work in Panjim opt for this place, but if you are a tourist.. Stay away.

I have stayed in two other hotels in Panjim before I checked in to Mayfair, all the other were not competitive at all. The house is very charming, the reception welcoming, staff professional, rooms clean and cosy. A nice breakfast buffet is included in the rooms which is served in the restaurant next door. Have looked around I can say that Mayfair probably is the best value option in town. Don't book via booking.com, they don't except your booking if you don't pay with a credit card directly. When we arrived they were booked out and were sent to an horrible option. Not there fault, rather the chains OYO

An old hotel which was recently renovated. Located on the southern side of central Panaji, everything in Panaji is within easy walking distance. Checkin was fine, staff were generally friendly although they seemed a little bit slow/clueless at times. The manager took time off to help me with something outside the hotel, which was quite impressive. My room was large and spacious large double bed, wardrobe, desk, armchair. Also a kettle and tea/coffee making stuff. Room had both a/c and a fan, both worked well. Bathroom was OK, hot water took a while to come through but was always available. A serious drawback was the street noise. From around 7-8 am to late evening, there was a lot of street noise traffic and local shops (including someone who kept using drills or an angle grinder.). Soundproofing was zero. Not a problem if youre out during the day, though. My room (deluxe?) faced the street other smaller room face inwards, though Im not sure that will help too much with the noise. Wifi was poor very slow and kept cutting out almost impossible to get anything done at times. I had the same problem with my local SIM card so perhaps this is a Panjim problem. TV was a small LCD screen, with a fair few English-speaking channels. Lighting was good yellowish spots, and reading lights by the bed. Desk and chair were on the small side. Wardrobe was OK but could be bigger. Breakfast is offered I went down once but decided not to return hot drinks, an omlette and toast are on request, theres also some fruit, cereal and a couple of other things. The breakfast room was not air conditioned and a little dark which made breakfast rather unappetizing. Overall, the place represents quite good value for money if you have to stay in Panaji. If daytime noise is not a problem, Mayfair can be a good choice.
