A truly lovely place to base your Goa trip at. The owners and staff are all hands-on and attentive. That pool is immaculately clean and the garden setting rounds that off. I enjoyed the food and good menu selections while the bar service was adequate. Goa is a bustling state [as is all of India] but here you can just get away from that busyness when needed and just relax. Only 3 km's to Calingute Beach [a sunset beach experience is a must anywhere in Goa!] - My wife Tessa and I will be returning, and with great exchange rates if you are travelling with Pounds, Euro's or Dollars, you will find Presa di Goa and indeed all of Goa great value. Our guided tours were very good with very well-informed guides.

If you are looking for some quiet and a serene stay away from crowds this is an ideal place .it has an old world charm with beautifully hand painted tiles.room dahlia has the best view of the pool and the garden .it is surrounded by coconut trees.it is like having a pool to yourself..a special mention to Mr Edwards warm hospitality.would surely come back here.hospitality was at its best anything you ask for they were right their to help us.and one of the most attractive part of this property is it has a Heritage site inside it if you want to spend a day experiencing vintage feels the best villa to opt for is orchid.and a one more perk of this place it's almost 12 to 20 mins away from baga, Calangute , Candolim and Anjuna . We arrived in the middle of the night by a complimentary taxi from the airport arranged by the hotel. Our driver was excellent and we used him several times during our stay. We were welcomed to the hotel with the minimum of fuss, with registration taking place the next morning. A lovely peaceful breakfast on our balcony overlooking the hotel grounds made a perfect slow start! Our room was large (4 poster bed!) with plenty of storage space. Thoroughly cleaned every day. We were visiting cousins living nearby, so only ate one evening meal at the hotel. The menu choice was wide and the food good. The service throughout was friendly and efficient. Perhaps the best part was after I left I discovered I had left something valuable in the room. Cynthia responded quickly to my emailed query confirming they did indeed have my item. They were very thorough, sending me a photo so I could confirm it was mine, before requesting my permission to hand it over to my cousin. The situation of the hotel was perfect giving us a peaceful base to explore the local village and surrounding area. I note someone mentioned dogs barking at night - yes they did, but that along with sounds from the local temple, were noises of the area, nothing to do with the hotel and did not spoil our stay. I would be happy to recommend this hotel, and would certainly stay there again. Thank you to all the team for looking after us.

I had originally booked for 6 nights hoping to get away from it all. Arrived late at night - all of us feeling slightly unwell. The night manager couldn't speak english, we were lead to out of the way rooms, dogs barked an howled the entire night. The beds were ROCK HARD - you might as well sleep on a block of wood. The loft part of the room was up some steep steps - impossible to drag you r suitcase up without falling down. A trip to the bathroom at night would send you flying down the steep steps. The room was old and dirty - had one very sleepless night - needed a Doctor in the middle of the night with the night manager not understanding a word. When I complained in the morning one of the owners told me I had booked on the internet so that is why I got that room. I left got a cab and went straight to a hotel where it was clean, staff were friendly and could speak english - organised me a room, a Doctor and took care of all our needs. This place is rated as a 4 star - I rate it 1 star. They still charged me for all 7 nights but I was so relieved to get out of that place. worst experience ever

A little gem of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of Calangute and Baga beaches. However the beaches are very accessible and only a couple of kilometres away (rs 100) in a cab or tuk tuk. We walked and it took us 40 mins. The hotel is unique and very clean. It is full of individual antique furniture and has a very homely feel. The staff are very attentive, polite and efficient. The owners Cynthia and Julious are lovely and can not do enough for you. Communication was excellent to ensure we were picked up from Karmali station after training down from Mumbai on the Tejas Express. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay within easy reach of all that Goa has to offer.
