The name of the property is "Hidden Paradise" and it is better off that it be made "hidden" from public view on the internet. False promises, horrible room service, power problems and to aggravate further, issues with water and lackluster security makes this an obnoxious property We booked this property via Cleartrip for 3 nights starting 19th October'17 basis the amenities listed. The promises were great, but the ground realities were extraordinarily paradoxical to the amenities listed. 3 major issues that needs to be highlighted: 1. One of our major requirements was with parking as we were travelling on our own vehicles and the amenity listed on Cleartrip corresponding to our requirement was the availability of FREE PARKING. However, when we reached the property, we found that the parking was out on an open road in front of the hotel. This was a shocker as our cars were insecure in an open parking outside the boundary wall of the hotel and the adjacent road was narrow enough to our disliking as other vehicles might brush our cars causing severe damage. Have attached a couple of pictures of the parking offered for everyone's knowledge 2. The security guard named Akshay is a lazy idiot who sleeps on his chair after 11 pm at night and that too inside the boundary of the hotel. Resultant, the cars parked outside, remain unattended and unsupervised. The icing on the cake was with a party of young bachelors who had come partying to Goa and were making enough noise on the hotel lawn at 2 AM at night to our discomfiture. The security guard did not have the courage to even go and maintain the sanctity and decorum of the property 3. The manager Vinayak and the staff are equally lack luster. We booked 3 cottages and almost everyday at night, the power would be shut down on all the cottages causing severe discomfiture for the kids as well as adults. When Vinayak was spoken to about this, he did not have an honest answer. On day 1, we were told by the kitchen inmates that it shuts down at 1930 PM and nothing could be ordered post that. We believed in that and took that as a maxim. However, on day 3, when I asked Vinayak, he suggested that the kitchen is open till 2200 PM. This is reminiscent of the severe lack of calibration among the hotel staff I am now going to put this on the consumers forum with the trip ID used for this transaction. The free parking was a completely misleading information which baffled not only us but also a few other tourists who came later

We intentionally chose to stay here so I'm not going to say we were taken for a ride. It is a 5 minute walk away from the awesome white, wide and safe Ashvem beach which was the primary reason for us to book here. I should also mention Paradise Beach Shack right on Ashvem beach which was our entry point as we crossed the road into the beach side. Had been to Ashvem beach many times before so our key factor was to stay close by Ashvem to have access to safe and kids friendly beach and options for good vegetarian food as we just lay on the shacks enjoying the sun and water Hidden Paradise is a decent option, but being in an area of Goa that draws a lot of Russian crowd, don't be surprised if you are the odd one out being Indian here ... like we saw we were the only Indian Family staying at the Hotel It is a bit away from Dabolim airport (90+ minutes) and almost equally away from Madgao bus stand. An hour from Panjim It has a beautiful central pool surrounded by lush green lawns at the edge of which are the dotted wodden cottages that make for a great morning or late evening photograph The reception is a small air-conditioned office at the front and they did an ok job of getting us in at the earliest. We arrived well into the day so the sun was already hot hence we headed straight to Ashvem beach shack The rooms are dated in construction so though they look beautiful and neat from the outside, it needs some maintenance and up-keeping to appeal internally as well. There is a small sit-out with a couple of chairs outside every room, which is nice to sit and read or see your kids take a dip in the pool on a pleasant day. The rooms are not great in size if you have big kids. We just about managed with our 2 boys under 11 years of age on the single not-so-large bed There is a kitchen (intentionally not calling it a restaurant) at the back that serves your morning breakfast and if you have no other option or too lazy to head out, your lunch or dinner as well. But nothing great to write home about, especially if you happen to be vegetarians. You are way better off on the shacks on Ashvem beach So go for it if it is a short holiday and you don't intend to spend too much time in the hotel or if your prime reason to be here is access to the best beaches of Goa

My husband and I stayed at one of the wooden cottages and I would highly reccommend the experience to other travellers. We had a very early flight and reached the hotel early by almost 2 hours. We were half expecting the hotel to ask us to wait or demand extra payment. But we were greeted with a smile and shown our lovely cottage within half an hour. The wooden cottage though not very large was very tastefully done up. The rooms and furnishings were absolutely spotless. A lovely sit- out with every cottage is a beautiful feature. The pool was clean and sparkling. The only area where Hidden Paradise could have done better was the breakfast. we know its complimentary but I wish there was a little more variety. The beach is a 2 min scooty drive away. Our biggest reason for reccomending this place: the nicest staff...always smiling and eager to help and get our feedback. The manager of the hotel call us on our way back to the airport to ask us about our stay and inviting us to visit again. True to its name...this is a little piece of paradise..do visit.

Had a very good experience. Place is value for money considering the modern interiors and upkeep. Cottages are nicely done. Service is good too. Place is well maintained. Excellent option in North Goa.

Felt very bad at this place.First thing that you expect is clean rooms and bed sheets. But nothing like that. Untidy sheets and blankets. Foul smelling rooms. When asked for clean sheets they say that it's clean they are just stains. Come-on grow up.Even calling the manager doesn't do any good. Non-functional restaurant. I think it's a norm to provide 2 water bottles a day to the guests. But thts not the case here.Have to go outside for dinner. I love Goa and have always stayed near Calangute and Baga. Lot of good resorts there. This time wanted something different but you guys completely spoiled it.
