What's Good: Full marks for cleanliness. The hotel is beautifully designed and deluxe rooms are perfect for a couple. Staff is very cooperative. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
What needs to improve : Location is bit away from beaches and popular food joints. In-house cafe Cotinga doesn't have much options in authentic Goan cuisines which travellers usually look for.
Reason For Rating : Received good discount from Yatra and stay was hassle free.

What's Good: I had a family problem, my daughter was unwell, due to which I had to cancel the trip. I can understand there is hotel policy in place, but there should be exceptions to be considered, and at least 50% refund should have been made.

What's Good: We booked the deluxe room of the hotel a week in advance. When we were 5 minutes away from the hotel on the day of arrival, I got a call from a lady at the front desk saying that our room had some foul smell due to water leakage! The were trying to move us to a different hotel. When i insisted on staying at Tamarind, they "Magically" got a room which had no foul smell. Upon checking in, we noticed many other vacant rooms which got occupied during the course of our stay. Unprofessional front desk staff (day shift staff). It was easy to figure out why they tried to move us to a different hotel! Pathetic! Everything else was fine. Good food at the restaurant, good buffet breakfast, prompt housekeeping staff. A quiet and calm place to relax and unwind.

The Tamarind gives true Goa vibe and has got nice play area. Breakfast is 10 on 10, I found the rooms and wardrobe small for a family with kids however I won't give it a minus looking at other great outside the room amenities... They were friendly and polite staff and looked after everything needful for children.

We were at Tamarind during Diwali'19. Location is centrally located from Baga, Calangute and Anjuna. It is scenic, filled with trees, rice lights (evening) and a perfectly sized pool. You can also hire a bike @400/day, pricey compared to regular bike shop but consider it as additional price for convenience. Standard breakfast is ordinary, but one pan eggs, which is not part of standard breakfast menu, is not to be missed. Also you should try all the cakes (especially chocolates) at the bakery inside the venue. We were in a dilemma whether to go for a resort in Baga or Tamarind (Anjuna), having tried both I'm happy that I stayed at Tamarind and look forward to coming again (and again :) ).

Location - 5/5 Food -5/5 Cleanliness-3/5 ( improvement needed in swimming pool area) Hospitality - 5/5 (especially Monica and the senior staff in hotel and cafe ) Rooms are perfect we booked premium bedroom - restroom with open shower was the best part. Only difficulty was the parking - we were using four wheeler, mostly parking area is full. We would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for pure class hospitality and exceptional customer service.
