For its price point you get what you pay for. For me and my friends it was not a very relaxing environment. A lot of noise during the night, the extra bed provided was uncomfortable and we got a very strange reception when we first arrived. The only one who spoke English seemed very arrogant and gave us a bad vibe. So we ended up only staying for one night but had paid for four. And you guessed it, they wouldn't give us a refund even though they promised us this. It is not so much the amount of money, it is more the complete lack of costumer service and the straight up lying, that is upsetting combined with wasting our time when they instructed us to be a certain place at a certain time and not showing up. They had gone home for the season. On a positive note the other staff, especially to women seemed nice though the language barrier made it a little difficult. Which is why they even get one star from me.

Stayed here for three nights with friends. Not located on the beach but less than a 2 min walk. It's sheltered under trees and has a very garden feel to it. The huts are spacious, mine could easily sleep three and a reasonable size bathroom. Clean and had mosquito nets with fresh towels. But it was so dimly lit and I had to ask them to replace bulbs which he didn't have. The rooms are dark most of the day, great for a hot day but not so much fun if you have to switch on lights at 10 am. The huts are bamboo thatches so absolutely zero sound proof. My door was jammed and it took a while for them to fix it The owner stays in Hyderabad and this is managed by a local guy who has 3-4 other people running it for him. They are extremely laid back and for some reason keep playing loud music throughout the day ruining the peace of this place. Right from 10 in the morning until midnight. And it's just for themselves, i didn't see too many people at the bar during the day. You really don't want to listen to trance at 1 in the afternoon!! For this reason alone I won't go back there. For the price I paid, I could have gotten a better place given that Agonda has nearly 25 odd beach huts lined up along the beach. Good property being neglected by lazy management. Go only if you get a very good deal and willing to compromise on the constant noise else find another place

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. We have stayed for 3 nights (out of 6 originally booked) and had to move out earlier, as we had regular night visitors - rats! It could have been partly our fault the first nigh as we had some fruit in the hut (although properly packed and wrapped, not a good idea anyway), after that I was very careful and rats were coming anyway - eating soap, going through our stuff ect. Really disgusting. I complained to the staff after the second night, they did not seem surprised. Since the problem had not been solved we decided to move out after the third night. To our big surprise, the manager/owner of the place was very rude and insisted that we stayed the whole booked time and move to the other hut. Not a single apology for our inconvenience (we stayed with small child!). He accused us that we only want to move out earlier because we have found cheaper place around. Which is simply not truth as we ended up paying more at the end - but for much cleaner place. At the end he reported to the site we booked through that we did not show up at all, so that he did not have to pay any fee even for the 3 days we stayed. To be fair, the rest of the stuff was nice and the place overall was quite cute and not far from the beach. Not well maintained though and run down. My recommendation would be to stay away from this place, you can find cleaner and nicer in the area for sure.

I read some positive reviews on this place and booked it from the UK.On arrival the check in was non existent, admitadly I arrived early 10 am,but apart from a few disinterested staff no greeting nothing.Eventually I was let into my room and on emerging about 9pm was asked by a man who I was not knowing I had arrived. The hut was basic but about right, however the noise level from partying staff and associates in the wee smalll hours was not.The place also had a loud disco on several evenings which drowned out any tranquilityuntil 12.The place has potential but needs a real shake down.
