I booked a deluxe room here not through trip advisor. At the beginning of august. The room I had booked & confirmed for 5 nights was not given to my husband & me on arrival though we had informed the hotel caretaker of our late arrival time in advance. On arrival we were told they thought we would not show up as we did not arrive by check-in time. Then we were given a standard room which was our only choice as there was no other room. This room was smaller & everything in the room was old & absolutely worn out & not maintained. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, toilet seat was dirty underneath, bathroom door had black stains on it. Water from taps & shower was very low stream which made it very difficult to have a bath later but had no choice. In the room there was a big wet patch all around the AC. The curtains were so worn we were woken up very early as they were not keeping out the sunlight. The fridge was not cleaned & had fungus patches in it. I found a big cockroach in my bag later so obviously pest control isn't being done regularly. There were cobwebs in the corner & the furniture wasn't dusted properly. The deluxe room we were finally given the next day at 11.30a.m. Although we were told it would be available at about 10a.m. It was bigger but not really better maintained. The whole place is in sore need of renovation & maintenance. It looks good only from the outside. We were so put off we left & went to another place we were familiar with. They charged us Rs. 1,000 for the room, cash, with Gst but didn't give us a bill. We didn't even think to ask we were just in a hurry to leave. The breakfast was an omlet with toast & butter, tea or coffee & a banana. I don't think you get anything else. It was good but there was definitely meat/meat curry in the omlet (similar to rassa omlet). They didn't confirm 1st if we eat meat. We do but they should have confirmed.

Located in a quiet street, Mi Casa is the best place for those who wish to stay in a homely peaceful atmosphere. The guest house is located a few metres away from Candolim beach. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. The best part is the omlette that caretaker Mr Sebastian prepared for breakfast. Don't miss it.

This restaurant on the highway from the airport to Panjim is excellent. Goan food. Simple and good service. Try the fish Caldin and the tandoori chicken. A must visit restaurant if you hungry going to your hotel. It's simple but very good. .

The Guest House is located on a quiet street, located off of the road leading to the beach. The rooms were neat. It had a small refrigerator in it. It also had AC, fan and hot water. Every room has a balcony......The room only cost me 1200 rupees ($18.50). The beach is only a 5 minute walk. The main road is only about a 8 minute walk. Plus you couldn't ask for a nicer person than the gentleman whose running the guesthouse. His name is Sebastian (he's retired sailor). He's very informative and should be able to answer any questions you have..... If your looking for a quiet, nice value place, located not to far from the beach, than this is the place.
