This is a pretty decent cafe in OM beach. If you are lucky, you will get the tables facing the sea. Then you can much on their food facing the sea. Or else, you can still relish their food by listening to the sound of waves. We stayed at Namaste cafe. The rooms are pretty okay. Not poshy. But pretty clean and nice. There are no better cafes there in om beach. So there's no point in comparing this with any other cafe. The must try is their sea food biriyani. Their nutella pancake tasted more like a crepe rather than a pan cake. Still it was good. Sea food soup was kinda fine. The food is not something so great. But it's decent. So should go for it :)

Rest of the shacks are almost not interested to treat Indians as guests, they are just interested in the foreign looking whites. This one have become a bit more arrogant over the years but is still one of the best stays available.

we are bikers so we reached mid night 3 am, the security didn open the gate, we had all luggage he didn open the gate to talk !! he over priced us to keep it in his pockets he said rooms were 4k if we can't pay get out !! we were treated so badly !! we didn have place to search at 3 am in the night, we requested but rudely they sent us off!! next day we thought the cafe would be different and thought we ll try food there, we got sizzler, it was given in 3 cabbage bowls,THE FISH WAS STALE, VEGETABLES WERE UNCOOKED !! When we complained they said their kitchen was closed and said that we had to pay for it !! we couldn't even order something else !! we were forced to leave it and paid 600 for it !! expensive and bad food!!

So I went down to this rather popular place for dinner, and so my review is only about the restaurant in this property. Very conveniently located, the place is hard to miss. From outside it looks promising sea facing, encapsuled on three sides by coconut groves, the place has a very promising look to it. Now coming to the food part. Their food is delicious. I ordered for butter garlic prawns and the seafood sizzler. Really wanted to try out the seafood platter, but was informed that's meant as a feast for 6 and not for solo souls. Nevertheless the food was spot on. It was from a fresh catch, and the taste was divine. In fact the sizzler was one of the best I ever had. Just that the prawns were quite less on the platter, probably it was their lucky day. Otherwise the platter was perfect, just the right amount of sauce and taste. Now coming to the down side. They seriously need to improve on their services, especially on the customer interaction part. I found the waiters snobbish and non-cooperative. For being such a well known place this was rather surprising. I did read reviews saying that they kind of differentiate between foreign and domestic visitors, but to be fair I didn't feel this bit. But the body language and way of interaction was definitely laced with a lot of snob and rudeness. Otherwise it would have been a perfect 5 from me.

We were quite shocked as the staff was quite rude and double booked our room as they tried to kick us out and also they did not give us the rate they promised once we arrived ...Our room had no private balcony but still they charged us the same price as the once that had one.We found it to be a bit overated...Otherwise the location is very beautiful and the garden is also very nice .
