Located amidst thick vegetation and 4-5 mins walking distance from Kudle beach, this property is no doubt beautiful. We booked a stone cottage with balcony facing the garden. The stone cottages are lovely from the exterior. However the interiors are very basic. It doesnt live up to the price which one would be paying. The in-house cafe is very average. Breakfast was a disaster for us on day one. We were not told that buffet set up is not done when guests are less. We waited for the buffet for 45 mins. Later, after speaking to the property manager we realised we need to order. Breakfast is not great. Though the menu is decent but food doesnt taste good. They need to get a good cook for sure. Better if you limit yourself to non-Indian breakfast as chances of going wrong there is less. For dinner, we ordered basic dal, rice, veg gravy, chapati. Which was ok. Your saviour here can be the shacks on Kudle beach which serve decent food. You can walk down as its not far off. The staff is laid back. They do everything that you will say but you need to ask. Promptness in customer service is not there. The property manager is good and is open to feedback. Other good things are two yoga decks; one facing the sea and another one under the banyan tree. The swimming pool is fairly well maintained. They have a kids pool as well. With limited options in Gokarna to stay, this is a decent place if you are with family. But be mindful if you have elderly people in the family as this property is located on a hill. And one has to walk up and down inside the property. Even the walk to Kudle beach is downhill.

I stayed here with my friends. Its a beautiful place, clean and well maintained. The location is very good as its situated right next to Kudle beach. Although the cafe 'namaste cafe' could definitely use some improvements in their service and food.

Of all the options available in Gokarna... This is one of the best options... It is at walking distance to kuddle beach where you can find lot of shacks took eat and perfect day to spend at beach... The location is also good in comparison to other resorts (at gokarna resorts are located at quite odd locations)..also at walking distance is sunset point...the rooms are clean, resort is in lush greenery and safe....staff are good...

My financee and I stayed at this oasis of peace for a week during off-season, in the final monsoon month. It was the perfect get-away: very quiet, apart from the crashing waves at Kudle Beach, which we could hear and see from our balcony, hardly a soul around, a nice pool, beautiful, lush vegetation, an abundance of animals and brids, who added to the lovely soundtrack of nature. Naturally, the entire area is much more quiet during monsoon time (off-season), so there'll be less restaurants open and a lot less yoga offers than usual. But those that are still operating, serve excellent food. We did not have one disappointing meal, neither at Sanjeevini itself nor at any of the other restaurants that were open, even though we sometimes were the only customers. Nearby recommendations include the Namaste Cafe, the White Elephant and the Paradise Inn right on Kudle Beach. Mr. Mahabaleshwar, who runs Namaste Sanjeevini, must be one of the nicest hosts around, he was very helpful with any questions we had, allowed us to check out late, lent us his scooter for a decent price (everything in Gokarna is priced decently), and just had a very nice vibe around him. We could not have wished for a nicer welcome to India. Thank you Mr. Mahabaleshwar, Sudhir and the whole team of Namaste Sanjeevini. Hoping to return again someday. Gideon

Me and my boyfriend stayed here during monsoon season in August so the whole area and resort was very quiet, which was exactly what we needed. We had a lovely big and clean AC room with a balcony overlooking the sea, and felt very welcomed by Mr Mahabaleshwar who was kind and helpful. We ate two meals in the restaurant, both of which were excellent, and our other favourite places to eat nearby were the White Elephant next door, and down by the beaches at the Paradise Inn and Namaste Cafe, which does the best breakfasts. Looking forward to returning!
