Reason For Rating : Rooms are spacious and clean. Ambience is calm and serene with trees plants with full of greenery. The location is ideal and very near to Mahabaleswar temple and Gokarna city. Food was excellent and the staff are courteous and friendly. Besides in charge manager Mr. Somanna is helpful and obliging. Overall a very good experience. Wish to stay again.

What's Good: 1).Nice ambience. 2).Beautiful Sea View rooms. 3).Lovely Cottages 4).Very Neat, Tidy and Clean environment inside the resort. 5).Nice Garden. 6).Easy access to the nearby beaches.7).Indoor amenities were good (eg: Snooker, Table Tennis, Foosball, Carams etc..)
What needs to improve : 1).Staffs are not properly trained to treat the clients, they don't even know what / how to communicate with the guests. 2).No complimentary Breakfast and charges are too high for a simple breakfast (eg:Rs.125/-for omlet, Rs.100/-for plain dosa).

What's Good: Felt I could have done the booking directly and would have got a better deal. Noticed other guests payed less than us. While booking, your site showed only one super deluxe room available. To our surprize the resort had only 25% occupancy on the whole. New property and our stay was cozy and enjoyable. Food was overpriced. Complained about differential charges. Got two dinner charges waived. Pick up and drops were very useful and we are grateful for that. Staff very courteous.

What's Good: A perfect stay and very well maintained resort in Gokarna. Very good service, hotel rooms are awesome, hotel staffs are very friendly. A very safe, clean and quite place to stay if you are planning to travel to Gokarna. Only one demerit (which i will say doesn't matter if you want to spent a lavish holiday) is that it is little bit on a costlier side. But if you see the facilities and service provided by the resort, money doesn't matter. Will love to stay in Sanskruti again, when i visit Gokarna. Thanks and Keep up the good service.

What's Good: Food was bad. Management should understand, nothing works as good as a good food. Other than pool there isn't much to do. I went in a peak season[long holidays] so it was a bit chaotic. Room and concept is really good though. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Staff were fighting and screening around We have to call multiple time for 1 request , and still they will not deliver any of your requests When we asked for their hotel manager- we met so many different people who said they r manager etc, however afterwards got to know that their manager was on leave

I booked the place at a short notice. The price was on the higherside for Deluxe rooms. They have cottages and rooms. We stayed in the rooms. First, the positives - The hotel is located conveniently, with parking facility having road access to temple and sea beaches. The hotel's outdoors is neat and is asthetically designed. The rooms are clean though our bathroom fittings were not in a great shape - The shower pin was not working. The horrible part is that there were stains on the bedsheet, which upon request were changed. This was unexpected, but I was ready to forget it as a one off issue. The bath room mat was stained too, but I ignored that as well. The other peculiar thing was, that they only provide hand towels upon request. Night mare started with the food. The croutons that garnished the tomato soup had a stench of old oil and the soup was totally disgusting. We ordered Naan, which was served cold and the paneer tikka masala that came along with it, was at best a hastily mixed poridge with no taste. By and large it is not the kind of food that you would like to eat even when you get paid for it! The restaurant has an overwhelming smell of non vegetarian food and as a vegetarian it was difficult to sustain. The staff of the restaurant is courteous but clearly the service and the food quality is very poor. There are enough good food serving places in Gokarna, so we never ventured into that restaurant again. We had some early morning plans of visiting temples and to our utter dismay there was no water in the washrooms. It took significant effort and multiple phone calls before the water supply was restored. This is not something that one can expect and throws your entire itenary down the drain. Small things like the coffee maker in the room doesn't have stirrer, the exhaust in the bathroom has no net which invites mosquitoes inside the room and there is no mosquito repellent, there are no safety lockers, just a bunch of cupboards, wobbly bed's headboard simply hints this place is more interested in making money and dont have your comfort in mind. The staff is courteous but lacks training.

We were made to wait for 45 mins to get the rooms inspite of booking them hours ago. Such a terrible start to the trip we were so excited about! Though the rooms are big and spacious but again the room service disappoints you. We had to call again and again for a bottle of water. No wi fi available in the rooms - unlike promised in the flashy advertisements. Dinner was equally bad. We were served stale paneer , and egg fried rice disguised as chicken fried rice. There was not even a single moment when we genuinely liked the service. Not at all RECOMMEDED!

When we arrived too early in the morning obviously no rooms were ready, however when asked they had higher category available and we paid off and took those rooms(here they could have upsold by themselves).Courteous staff.Clean pool, clean rooms and clean surrounding. I had some gas issue and staff showed immediate courtesy and provided some tablet which resolved my issue within 5 10 minutes. Thanks a lot.Food part we had only breakfast and I found its average.Although a great resort but need to work on small small things like keep a tong near to bread toaster, remove the shell of boiled eggs in buffet, keep cutlery on the table, a warm welcome during check in and a thanks you for staying kind of word while check out etc. One more last thing the black tea I ordered was horrible. It was made to mix milk.Anyway thanks and keep improving. Note for travelers- Kindly use swimming costumes in swimming pool, many people went inside the swimming pool with normal clothes like salwars, vest, underwear, cotton shorts etc, its disgusting.

We had a premium cottage but it was dark - roof painted dark brown with inadequate lighting. Bathroom ok and plenty of hot water. Fridge not working, telephone not working, tea/coffee maker (kettle) could not be plugged in where it was placed on the desk as sockets didnt work there. Nor did the sockets on one side of the bed. But the bed was clean and comfortable. Just as well cos there was a noisy disco going on for the school group also staying. In fairness, it probably stopped by 10pm - not sure as managed to get to sleep before then. Breakfast was a disappointment- no fruit, no dosa. And only brew coffee. Staff willing but ineffective. Coffee offered when we arrived never came. Dont know how much we paid as part of a package but having seen rates advertised, suspect it is over priced. Wouldnt want to go back.
