It was our first visit to Nagzira so we decided to stay with NNC. The resort is close to the nature, surrounded by beautiful mountains. No disturbance as its more close to buffer area. We received warm Welcome by Mr Sanjay Sharma and team. The food really awesome, which we not expected in such a remote areas. We toos 4 drives and went to New and old nagzira both. In new we got Tiger T-9, which we we heard migrated from Kolsa range of TATR.. Old nagzira is best for wild dogs and leopards. We blessed with 2. Over all a successful trip with memories restored.

Nagzira is not a place to expect tigers. Very few (single digit) are in the park and very difficult to see them. Sightings of Tigers happen once in 2 or 3 days. Leopard sightings are decent but our data was 1 leopard sighted in 5 safaris. The National Park is poorly maintained with lots of private vehicles allowed for safaris. The local Gypsy Jeeps are just pieces of metal abandoned by Kanha/Pench/Tadoba drivers. The park is good for birding. Lots of raptors. The lodge is situated close to both the routes. The old nagzira (gate 1) route has better sightings than the new nagzira (gate 2). The lodge is just 5 tents. The team here has excellent attitude towards customers. Sanjay Sharma has the right attitude of taking care of the guests. Operational staff Kranthi is awesome. The lodge had problems serving us fruits and natural yoghurt even when we had requested them 4 months in advance. Their supplies are erratic. But food was very tasty (and oily). Overall a decent place to stay and high value for money.

Really enjoyed my stay at this lovely camp. We were lucky enough to be here on a Monday night when there were no other travellers (it is a small camp with 5 tents). We were offered warm hospitality and enjoyed our stay here. The food was homely and tasty, and all arrangements were made without any hassle. The rooms were clean and delightful. The safari was amazing, all in all it was a lovely stay and just right for the price.

I visited Nagzira Nawegaon Tiger Reserve last week alongwith 4 others. The trip was organised by Incredible Africa Safaris through the owner of Nagzira Nature Camp (Sanjay Sharma), where we stayed. Our 3 night stay was very comfortable in the tented camp, a short drive from the Chorkhamra Gate of the reserve. In-room amenities do not matter much to me when on safari, but I must mention that there was ample space and charging points inside the tent. The room and the bathroom was large. Hot water is courtesy solar panels. Beds were hard with medium soft mattresses allowing me to sleep well. Some tents had aircon and some coolers. Neither was needed as the weather was cool and we needed blankets at night. The dining area serves as the lobby and chatting area, though all tents have a seating area outside. The meals were the best part of the day. The owner ensures meals - Indian - are served piping hot and fresh. The chicken curry and the vegetables tasted as good if not better than home food. We had stacked beers in the fridge; you have to bring your own alcohol as the hotel does not have a permit. No problem at all. The property is small neat and tidy. You can park your private vehicles inside the compound. You can book your safaris through the lodge. Plenty of wildlife abounds. We heard sambar and cheetal calls every night and even went night driving upto the "T point" though we saw only a few sambar deer. Leopards are often sighted on the main road itself. The village people are wary and keep their cattle and goats well protected at night. The park itself is still recovering from the 3300 MW Adani thermal power plant, built in 2012, less than 20 km away. Its a huge plant and no doubt has impacted the birdlife in Nagzira. We could see a virgin forest with much flora but little fauna. Yes there are tigers, leopards and even wild dogs (dholes), apart from chital, sambar, nil gai and gaur (Indian bison), but these are few in number. The fresh green flora, though, was a revelation to me and I learnt to distinguish between 20 different tree species - there must be more than 50 here. We also saw plenty of wood spiders in their mega webs - and photographed one eating a freshly caught swallowtail butterfly. The highlights were the stay at Nagzira Nature Camp, the trees, the 'highway leopard' and sighting of sarus cranes in Gondia town, organised by a fanatical wildlife conservationist Bharat Jasani.

We are couple from Raipur and we visited Nagzira Nature Camp during off Season of Wildlife Tiger Reserve, but still we have enjoyed our stay, as Camp is surrounded with beautiful mountain and at the back water of Chorkharama dam. We have taken nature walk at dam and we enjoyed little bit of wildlife by doing birding. Our stay at camp is also very memorable as service and food was very good. All staffs are very good. We stayed in tents and tents are very good and well maintained. Best thing we like about camp that you feel that you are at your second home. Mr.Sharma the owner of Camp personally assisted us. Thanks to him to his Team.
