Resort is right on the highway and easy to find. Check in was lame, too chaotic and really bad Guest management. No Greetings and Staff were busy chit chatting in themselves. we were told to wait for an hour to check in at 12pm which we gladly accepted. Front desk Staff was pretty arrogant in answering question. So we checked in after a short drive from Sula at 2 pm We were given keys and after requesting they sent staff to collect bags from car. Time consuming as they were short staff. Room is decent, not good for the price you pay. Furniture is showing its age, (We stayed in Suite) Cleanliness is an issue. They dont have place to keep extra bedding so it was kept outside the room . It was pouring the day we checked in and beddings and bed sheet were damp and gave very uncomfortable feeling to use. Food is undoubtedly good it takes time for Service though if you choose Ala Carte. We had to wait for good 20 mins to get our food. Room service again takes anywhere around 20-30 mins. Now about the Petting zoo. this resort is double the price or more compared to manas lifestyle next door presumingly for its Petting Zoo. Because of heavy rains Birds were wet and scared right at the top of there cage or whatever you would like to call it. Squirrels were not to be seen. African parrot were hiding for protecting from rain and wind. very sad view to see such adorable creatures left in a cage in such a bad weather. not quite sure about cleanliness as it was stinking quite awful. we went down to see there much bragged about pets, Dogs. Its quite a trek to go down and see them in their enclosure. If you are a pet or dog lover skip this part (reading and experiencing) there were about 3 Collies, 2 Labrador, 3 Rotts, 2 German Shepard and few more hiding deep inside a long cage. that cage was stinking really bad,it can easily trigger your allergies. Collies had there excreta entangled in their fur, Labrador seem scared and sitting right at the back,German shepherds were just going round and round and barking, one rottweiler had eye infection and kept crying , all dogs were barking a lot the moment they saw us which could be due to anxiety or anger. Mind you it was Pouring a lot and these dogs were in a cage which did not have roof which means they were getting wet all the time which was pretty obvious the reason of their tired and dirty looks. we asked who is there care taker, got no answer. We asked how and where would they sleep in night as it was cold, no answer. Management and Owner should get up from there sleep and do something about these lovable creatures too. i wonder how it hasn't caught anyones attention yet. Check out was again lousy. i wanted to buy there white umbrella used by staff however same front desk man got offended and snapped saying not for sale. I left the property with a heavy heart. Hope these pets are looked after well. I might return again to see how they are doing.

It was an overall great experience to spend time with your loved ones in such an awesomely located resort. good food. great pools. although I would like to request the management to take care of the dogs as they seemed unhappy and distressed.

I stayed here for a night last weekend, it wasn't a very good experience.. The furniture in the rooms are too outdated and not maintained well.. The view from the room is good as its valley facing, food was average.. We were allotted rooms in the 7 series which were too far from the main reception.. I also didn't like the way the dogs are kept in the property, the place looked very shabby ,I heard them bark and hence I went to check and was not at all happy with what I saw.. Few of them had eye infection which looked really bad and should be treated asap.. They didn't have proper dog beds or mats and were sitting on some old discarded furniture.. Have uploaded pics, I am an animal lover and have a dog at home but would not bring my dog here.. Request to the management to take care of animals as this could lead to serious problems.. Overall an average stay..

Overall stay was average mainly cause of the room. Check in / Check out : quick & smooth, no frills welcome as they have many guest to attend during monsoon. They dont ask for feedback while leaving. Room : Both the hotel & MMT website offer partial truth. Booked a Royal villa. Both living & bedroom were spacious. But they are too old , hotel is passing this room as a heritage room. They do have some heritage looking objects placed in the room . It is smelly and damp.Room was complete disappointment.Mineral water provided is sub standard. Breakfast & Lunch: Opted for MAP meal plan. Decent variety in buffet at both time. Taste wise above average. Service : Staff is good , attentive to your needs. Had 2-3 issues , they were resolved within short time. Petting zoo : Unique, great variety of birds & dogs. Ducks & rabbits are added attraction. You can take the dogs for a walk. You can feed the birds . Enjoyed this part the most. Location: Its right on the highway. Resort is clean & well maintained. This one is for MMT - you are offering 30 mins spa as inclusion in monsoon package on your app. When I called to check why I m not entitled to it , as per MMT hotelier is offering this to only people who directly book with the hotel which is complete lie.

My experience with Manas.. We as a group of 7 had set out for the first monsoon trip of 2018 and shortlisted manas igatpuri.. Have heard that there are 2 versions of Manas - new and old (original).. while we went to the original and the cost worked out to Rs. 11600 for a couple, one would perceive this to be a 5 star like experience, please read below our actual experience. 1. During booking tax is not included and we are required to pay during check out. The info that tax is additional is displayed only post booking. The tax percentage and amount is a pandora box that opens at check out. 2. Our checkin time was 1 pm while we were given the room at 2 pm after cleaning in a hush hush manner 3. The room valley view villa has furniture which is atleast 20+ years old, shows that the interior is not in sync with the cost. 4. Toilet seat cover was broken. 5. The flooring of the rooms were distinctly not part of modern ameniites and worse was that the joints in the flooring had started to give up and hurting the fingers. 6. The management of food was chaotic to the core. Very obviously the number of people deployed were much less than what was required to manage the crowd at Manas. When food is in counter there are no plates cups and when we finally find a person to raise the concern he would take another 15 mins to get things in order. By then food is cold or taken by those few lucky who have plates cups etc. And shortage of food was another issue. Coming to quality of food, poor would be under rated word and soda overdose was evident to the extent of gastric problems which was aftermath. Given all these problems the cost which is categorized as 5 star basis which we were charged 28% GST is not at all acceptable. If I am the owner of Manas and have a nano ounce of guilt and self respect, I would call up all those customers who had been complaining during check out and be courteous to lower the cost burden.
