It is a normal hotel .. budget hotel .. it is not easy to reach the hotel reception for old & those who don't want to strain .. you must walk down 26 steps to reach the reception. . Food is normal .. service is ok .. you can have a temporary stay .. more over nothing to visit in gudalore for a long stay .. climate is not good when compare with ooty .. rooms are very normal ...

I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy! After a long trip through the mountains we were unable to reach our destination due to it being late and we had been travelling for 13hrs by car. We stopped at this place and our driver explained to the person behind the desk that we were all very tired and could he find us a non ac room. We checked the room and initially it seemed clean.....once we had checked in and brought our bags into the room it became apparent only half the bedding was actually on the bed, the sheets were dirty and there were cobwebs everywhere. It was clear that this room was probably used by the staff when they needed to rest. To make matters worse, the smell coming in from outside via the vent in the bathroom was unbearable. We also realised our room had no window except for a hole in the wall above the door. In itself this is not an issue, what is an issue is the hotel staff insisted on keeping the light on in the hall the whole night which meant it shone in our room and attracted all the mosquitoes!!!!! So a dirty room with a strong stench coming through and a lit room all night....could it get any worse? Apparently yes. Is is not a hotel. It's a boarding house for the local young men. This means you have the feeling you are right in the middle of a boys dormitory from 5 am onwards...loud shouting, boys messing around, radios on....total chaos! When this was explained to the management, the man stood there grinning. He didn't care. No apology nothing. It is the only time I have left a hotel without paying. It's disgusting please drive the extra kilometres to your destination....do not stay in this hotel or Gudular!
