This hotel is located at the heart of city near Jagat circle, Gulbarga. The rooms are very expensive here. Even though the tariff charged is more the facilities provided are poor. The rooms and wash rooms are not spacious. Even the complimentary breakfast provides you with only one dish. The only plus point of this hotel is that it's located near to market area otherwise the facilities provided are just average.

17, 18 November, 2017. I was on an official trip to the PDACE, Gulbarga (Kalaburagi). I was wondering where my host would put me up. With me, was a lady, travelling with a largish family unit: her husband, her sister and her son, and her parents. My host had earlier told me that the accommodation would perhaps be at Hotel Ashraya Comforts, a place where I had stayed between 03-04 December, 2013. I had pleasant memories of this place, a neat and clean hotel. I had stayed in an non-air conditioned room that time, room 311. Would I be put up there, or somewhere similar? I have memories of the nice fittings and some odd-ball red plastic chairs. One attraction of the hotel had been the Amanthrana restaurant, which I definitely wanted to patronise! On reaching Gulbarga, my host informed me that the other party would stay in Hotel Ashraya Comforts, and my would be be in Hotel Pariwar, on the Station Road. My disappointment at not being able to stay at the hotel would be compensated for my a visit to the property the next day for lunch, at the ground floor Udupi-style restaurant, Amanthrana! When we arrived at the property, the whole place had changed drastically. The hotel had been located on an empty field beside the main road back then. Now, a huge building had come up in front, which limited the parking space available. My host parked his vehicle on the other side of the road, in front of the Municipal Corporation. (One of the main attractions of this hotel is its central location: Kadechur Central, Main Road, Jagat Circle, and is opposite the Municipal Corporation. This is a place which most autorickshaw drivers in the city, and most residents of the city, know about). Coming back to the lunch, it was as attractive as ever! We would go into the inside part, the air-conditioned one. We started with a spicy manchow soup, ordered some ordinary and butter naans, a cashew curry, some baby corn starters, methi malai, dal and for me, the highlight was a ragi dosa!

I was in Gulbarga, for a day to attend a family function of one of my office colleagues. The hotel is 15 min by car/auto from the railway station, on the main road at Jagat Circle. Checked into the hotel in the morning. We had an AC room. Room was big with a queen sized bed and a set of sofas. The AC was powerful enough for the big room. The bathroom was decent sized and was quiet neat. As we had checked in only for a morning and would be checking out in the late evening , the same day, so we were provided the breakfast coupons on arrival. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, which is in the ground floor. You have a choice of Dosa, Poori and Sheera along with tea/coffee. Overall , comfortable short stay.

I had visited this hotel on a business visit. Several things were not right with my stay here. First of all the staff is rude and very intrusive with no sense of privacy. Knocking on the door is seldom done - they straight away open the doorknob. The walls are thin and a lot of noise comes from the reception. There were also several problems with my checkout. Due to a delay of 2 hours they had charged me one extra night. Upon complaining, they asked me to pay for one extra night in a lower category room. Post talking to the owner, they went back on their word and I ended up paying the full amount. The rooms are big and spacious but the rude staff and bad service do not make your stay worthwhile. Advice: Don't stay in this hotel - there are much better alternatives nearby.

We booked the hotel for a short stay. THe rooms are neat and clean. THe staff were very very helpful. We got late while returning back to the hotel and had to head to the railway stn immediately. So we called up the reception to pack dinner for us. They took the order on phone and kept the parcel ready by the time we came. CHeckin and checkout was very smooth. Not too far away from the railway station. Overall the hotel is a good one to stay.
