Located at an exotic mystical place, within the lush green fields of rural Punjab, the resort is designed like a village house, yet has some modern amenities for the urban guests. Bullock Carts and Tractor rides are exciting for the first timers. Gives you a genuine peek in the life of rural Punjab. the food served there is freshly cooked for you, and the place is well away from all the hustle bustle of the cities. Best time to travel is in winters and in dry cool weather, though we went in Monsoons. still a great place for a weekend. The Chhota Ghallughara gurdwar( Smaller Holocaust Gurdwara) and the newly built up memorial nearby gives you a bone chilling account of the Sikh history also, which is not available in modern textbooks, nor many people talk about it. Not to be missed.....

No matter how much I try and explain the experience, you got to be there to feel it. On my trip to Amritsar, Punjabiyat was a one day getaway. Getting there from Amritsar for a decent drive ( road is not the best ), once we reached, it was all worth it. In April we experienced Rain, the most beautiful Colors of the wheat plantation from our cottage till as far as we could see. Service is simple but food is out of the world. The team is warm and very helpful. Nights are cold and you won't need a fan in the middle of the day as the mud huts will keep you cool enough. Just book and get there to experience hospitality, food, serenity, all under one roof.

I just came back from Punjabiyat after staying for 03 nights and I am so glad that I took the decision to stay at the property. It was a perfect gift for my daughter birthday ! Every time I travel it seems that I have found one of the best property, but again something or the other comes up, well its a shame for me that it took so long to discover this charming place being in travel & trade. Everything from accommodation to staff is perfect, staying in the beautiful mud cottages without turning on the AC was something we enjoyed the most, looking at amazing panorama view of the fields, this is going to be one of the most amazing, peaceful and memorable stay for me and my little one. She didnt even complained once that she is getting bored without the idiot box . The staff with every smiling faces makes its more unique and comfortable the bullock cart ride / visiting the local house day trip to Golden Temple ..we enjoyed and lived every moment. We had the same type of experience at Fedys Bungalow as well.. which is again a very nice property . Oh the most important thing, you have a great in house chef, which i hope the owners would not let him go anywhere !! and Mr. Singh the security person in the property is a nice interesting person as well. So they all make a great team at the resort .

Spent 3 nights here with family. About 1.5hrs from Amritsar airport. The location is wonderful - wheat fields as far as the eye could see and amazingly quiet. The cottages are comfortable (with AC) and spacious. Well equipped bathrooms. Did the tractor ride, horse carriage ride, visit to a local farm and the gurudwara. My two young children got an experience of a rural lifestyle for the first time and were quite amazed. The staff is well trained and took great care of us and we relished the hospitality. The meals are simple but quite delicious. We also did a day trip covering the Golden temple, Wagah border and the local shopping. Would recommend you use their driver (Pandey ji) who is a local - slightly expensive but guided us at all times. Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay here. Can club with a trip to Mcleodganj (3.5hr drive away), something that we did.

Great place to introduce kids to electronic free life and wake up to lush green all around . The food is delicious and well cooked and kudos to the chef . Team is extremely polite and accommodating. Rooms could be slightly better done in terms of wiring etc and bed sheets could be crisper. Loved the sound of morning prayers and evening wafting through from the gurdwara close by and lovely sunset Love the old time switches though.
