The worst experience u may get in life time, utter unprofessionalism shown by the owner and the staff. Had to wait to check in for nearly one hour. No one attended. Ego so high that they Dinnet even know how to speak with customer. Won't recommend any persons in a life time. Will never set my foot to such a place.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is 50 Meters from the gate of the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary. The staff is helpful. The food is also good and simple. Nothing fancy. It is priced reasonably. The rooms are ok nothing special . In fact they have only four cottages. So book in advance . The staff helps you in getting tickets for the Elephant safari. Don't miss it. The best place to see rhinos that close. It is about an hour drive from Guwahati. I would recommend one night stay over at this place so that you can enjoy a relaxing early morning safari. Over all a good place to stay, nothing fancy but nothing much to complain about.

The reviews already posted are very exact. Only wanted to add that it is very clean, homely and staff well behaved and obliging. Two cottages share one veranda. Small property but very homely. Ample space for kids to play in the garden. Plus their adjacent plot was being developed with swings on trees, fishing pond, sitting areas, party area and parking area and our two cars were allowed to park inside the gated plot at night. One can walk to the ranger's office for jeep ride permits and a free entry to the hanging bridge. Bed sheets and blankets were clean and fresh. Menu is mostly Assamese with rice, roti, curries, dal, fish, chicken, puri, etc. Orders can be given at office cum dining hall and they are willing to arrange for any other food items.

Located just 40 kms from Guwahati and connected by good condition all weather roads, this resort is located near the forest range office near Haduk "Beel' (lake) in the Pobitora Wildlife sanctuary. A very small resort with only four cottages and a dining hall (though it has recently acquired land for expansion), this is ideal for : 1) Business travellers to Guwahati, who instead of staying over in Guwahati, can leave for the resort by 7 - 7:30 p.m., being hardly an hours drive, stay overnight in well furnished rooms with all facilities (a/c, dish tv, modern bathrooms), wake up early hear the birds chirping, go for morning safari by elephant or jeep, have breakfast and leave the resort by 9 - 10 a.m. to catch the flight back home 2) Three or more families can hire the entire four cottages and enjoy having the entire resort at their disposal for a short break. Bonfires, safaris, etc. are arranged by the resort staff. Can also ask for a visit to the Mayang village famous for its mystical magic practices. Food however is a limited option. Chicken, fish, duck, pigeon, eggs, vegetables are procured from the local markets, but everything else has to be brought from Guwahati. So it is advisable to inform ahead of your visit to the resort staff about your food/snacks requirement over phone (Pankaj nath 9577885446). Wildlife : One horned rhinos and birding.
